While Trump leads\u200b in \u2062most states, the race has narrowed since last \u200cmonth. Former President Donald Trump is ahead of incumbent\u200d President\u2064 Joe Biden in\u2063 five\u200c out\u200b of \u200cseven swing states, with\u2064 a deadlock in one state as per a recent poll by Bloomberg News\/Morning Consult from May 7th to 13th. The poll surveyed 4,962 registered voters, revealing Trump&#8217;s four-point lead\u200c over Biden \u200dacross swing states. Although Trump leads in\u200c the\u200c majority, the race has tightened compared to last month.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Former President Donald Trump now leads incumbent President Joe Biden in five of seven swing states and is tied with him in one more, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/changes-in-public-legal-perception-ahead-of-derek-chauvin-trial\/\" title=\"Changes in public, legal perception ahead of Derek Chauvin trial\">recent poll found<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/pro-assets.morningconsult.com\/wp-uploads\/2024\/05\/Bloomberg-Election-Tracking-Wave-8-Toplines-Crosstabs.pdf\">poll<\/a> of registered voters, conducted by Bloomberg News\/Morning Consult from May 7th to the 13th, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2024-05-22\/violence-around-2024-election-feared-by-half-of-swing-state-voters-poll?leadSource=uverify%20wall\">found<\/a> that Trump has a four point lead over Biden across all swing states. The former president is up by five points in Arizona, seven points in North Carolina, three points in Georgia, and two points in Pennsylvania, as well as one point in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>Trump and Biden are tied in Nevada while the Democrat has just a one point lead over Trump in Michigan. The poll of 4,962 registered swing state voters has a margin of error of one point. Though Trump enjoys leads in the majority of swing states, the race has tightened since last month when the former president had stronger advantages, most notably in Wisconsin and Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>Those surveyed were also relatively pessimistic about the economy, with 55 percent saying that the economy in their state was headed in the wrong direction as opposed to 45 percent who said that it is going in the right direction.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/its-immigration-stupid-new-poll-finds-immigration-most-important-issue-to-voters\/\" title=\"\u2018It\u2019s Immigration, Stupid!\u2019: New Poll Finds Immigration Most Important Issue To Voters\">poll findings<\/a> come as Trump and the Republican National Committee <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/trump-rnc-dominate-biden-and-democrats-in-april-fundraising\">outraised<\/a> Biden and the Democratic National Committee last month marking a reversal of the trends in March when Biden and the Democrats outraised Trump and the Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/oz-barnette-and-mccormick-cast-votes-in-pennsylvania-senate-gop-primary\/\" title=\"Oz, Barnette, and McCormick Cast Votes in Pennsylvania Senate GOP Primary\">public opinion survey<\/a> from Bloomberg News\/Morning Consult is one more in a growing number of polls that could spell trouble for the Democratic incumbent.<\/p>\n<p>An ABC News\/Ipsos poll recently found that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/more-americans-trust-trump-over-biden-to-handle-economy-immigration-crime\">voters trust Trump<\/a> to handle the economy, immigration, and crime more than they trust Biden. The three issues are set to be some of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/voters-say-immigration-is-top-issue-facing-country-biden-faces-widespread-disapproval-on-immigration\">top concerns<\/a> among voters in the presidential election. A wider share of voters also indicated that they approve of Trump\u2019s performance in office compared to Biden\u2019s, one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/voters-say-immigration-is-top-issue-facing-country-biden-faces-widespread-disapproval-on-immigration\">Harvard Harris poll<\/a> revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Voters also appear to be in favor of Trump\u2019s flagship promises on immigration.
