Take a look at this large portion of a Humpback whale skull on Hatteras Island,\u201d the post read.<\/p>\n<p>The skull, which is estimated to weigh a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox32chicago.com\/news\/rare-whale-skull-nc-beach?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR22jJlO4cyJg2vL7Cv_4j0MHIIcFhZWL8h_m8c9dCEeoSpDje1xTA_Se5U_aem_AbLGmJKMu78ML2Anryt3igUQnxEpHuwb761q407o4cnzzFpbExUuYeGuVI-_woZqGyRctuNHPujDopUV75HPVHhJ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>reported<\/a> 40-tons, belongs to a humpback whale, according to Cape Hatteras National Seashore.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir skulls are relatively flexible, especially around the jaw joints, which enables them to open their mouths wide to consume large volumes of water and prey.
