The aircraft&#8217;s safety \u2062will be \u2062investigated.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<header> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/news\/\">  News <\/a>   <span> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/johnathanjones\/\">  <\/a> <\/p>\n<p> <span>   By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/johnathanjones\/%20\"><span>Johnathan Jones<\/span><\/a> <\/span> <span>   May 21, 2024 at 10:59am <\/span> <\/span>  <\/header>\n<section>\n<p>One person was killed and more than two dozen others were injured during an international flight from London to Singapore when the Boeing aircraft they were aboard experienced \u201csevere turbulence\u201d on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Singapore Airlines said Tuesday that a Boeing 777-300ER it operates left <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-londons-iconic-big-ben-shows-controversial-anti-semitic-message\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">London\u2019s<\/a> Heathrow Airport bound for its country of origin when it experienced a rough patch and was forced to land in Thailand, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/05\/21\/one-dead-as-singapore-airlines-flight-encounters-severe-turbulence.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>While in transit, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/update-ex-obama-official-not-die-turbulence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">turbulence<\/a> injured 30 passengers and left one of them dead.<\/p>\n<p>That person, a reported British national aged 73, was not identified, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/country-star-says-died-two-times-post-concert-heart-attack-lord\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heart attack<\/a> was suspected as the cause of death.<\/p>\n<p>In total, 18 people were hospitalized when Singapore Airlines Flight 321 landed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/thai-soldier-opens-fire-fellow-soldiers-kills-20-north-bangkok\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bangkok<\/a>. Twelve other passengers were receiving treatments at local hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>Singapore Airlines said, \u201cThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/1-dead-9-missing-after-float-plane-crashes-off-wash-coast\/\" title=\"1 dead, 9 missing after float plane crashes off Wash. coast\">remaining passengers<\/a> and crew are being examined and given treatment, where necessary, at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The airline said the \u201csudden\u201d and \u201csevere turbulence\u201d turbulence occurred when the Boeing jet hit a pocket of air in the skies over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-police-investigating-cnn-crews-coverage-thailand-day-care-massacre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thailand<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On its Facebook page, Singapore Airlines said in a statement: \u201cThere were a total of 211 passengers and 18 crew on board. The nationalities of the passengers are as follows: 56 from Australia, 2 from Canada, 1 from Germany, 3 from India, 2 from Indonesia, 1 from Iceland, 4 from Ireland, 1 from Israel, 16 from Malaysia, 2 from Myanmar, 23 from New Zealand, 5 from the Philippines, 41 from Singapore, 1 from South Korea, 2 from Spain, 47 from the United Kingdom, and 4 from the United States of America.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The company also offered its \u201ccondolences\u201d to those who are mourning the death of the passenger who died.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Are you scared of flying?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cSingapore Airlines offers its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased,\u201d the airline said. \u201cWe deeply apologize for the traumatic experience that our passengers and crew members suffered on this flight. We are providing all necessary assistance during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The company dispatched representatives to Thailand to \u201cprovide any additional assistance needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>NBC News, citing the flight tracking website Flightradar24, reported Singapore Airlines bought the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/doj-says-boeing-now-subject-criminal-prosecution-failing-fulfill-obligations-wake-fatal-crashes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boeing<\/a> 777 involved in Tuesday\u2019s incident in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Singapore\u2019s Transport Safety Investigation Bureau will investigate the deadly flight.<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft was not blamed for the incident, but Boeing said it had been in contact with the airline to offer any support it could.<\/p>\n<p>The incident over Thailand is just the latest public relations headache for Boeing, which has had the safety of its planes questioned amid a year of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/boeing-737-catches-fire-failed-takeoff-attempt-screaming-passengers-scramble-evacuate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mishaps<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/another-boeing-jet-makes-emergency-landing-due-possible-mechanical-issue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mechanical errors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/sudden-deaths-2-boeing-whistleblowers-10-stepping-forward-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">whistleblowers<\/a> have come forward from inside the company and claimed Boeing has not taken safety seriously.<\/p>\n<p>Two of them have died this year, but there has been no link between the deaths and the company\u2019s issues.<\/p>\n<p>Issues with Boeing flights have become a common occurrence during the first two quarters of 2024.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>An Important Message from Our Staff:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>We who work here at The Western Journal have fought for years against Big Tech and the elites who want to shut us down and then shut America down. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span>Make no mistake \u2014 nothing will be the same after November 2024.
