The\u2064 ICC disclosed its intent to pursue warrants against Netanyahu and another\u200d Israeli \u2064official. Netanyahu refuted accusations of withholding water from Hamas terrorists, highlighting \u200cIsrael&#8217;s substantial aid\u200c efforts \u2064to Gaza.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Israeli Prime Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/benjamin-netanyahu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Benjamin Netanyahu<\/a> harshly criticized the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/international-criminal-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>International Criminal Court<\/a> for its plans to issue arrest warrants against him, claiming the court is trying to \u201cdemonize\u201d the country.<\/p>\n<p>The ICC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/world\/3009881\/icc-seeks-israel-arrest-warrants-what-happens-next\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"announced Monday\">announced Monday<\/a> that Netanyahu is one of two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/israel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Israeli<\/a> officials the court intends to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/world\/3009632\/icc-seeks-arrest-warrants-israeli-hamas-leaders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>pursue arrest<\/a> warrants against, with the other being Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. A prosecutor at the ICC has accused Israel of withholding water to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/hamas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Hamas<\/a> terrorists and Gaza civilians, an accusation Netanyahu deemed \u201cabsurd.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are supplying now nearly half of the water of Gaza,\u201d Netanyahu said on ABC\u2019s <em>Good Morning America<\/em>. \u201cWe supplied only 7% before the war, so this is completely opposite of what he\u2019s saying. He\u2019s saying we\u2019re starving people? We have supplied half a million tons of food and medicine with 20,000 trucks. This guy is out to demonize Israel. He\u2019s doing a hit job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ICC\u2019s announcement also detailed plans to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bipartisan-u-s-officials-warn-icc-destroys-its-credibility-by-targeting-israel\/\" title=\"Bipartisan U.S. Officials caution ICC's credibility damaged targeting Israel\">pursue arrest warrants<\/a> against Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas in Gaza, Mohammed Deif, the head of its military, and Ismail Haniyeh, the head of its political bureau. Netanyahu criticized this, comparing these planned arrest warrants to a hypothetical scenario of if the ICC pursued arrest warrants against then-President George Bush and Osama bin Laden after the 9\/11 terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n<p>The Israeli prime minister also said the ICC\u2019s prosecutor is adding fuel to \u201cthe fires of antisemitism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause he is attacking the one and only Jewish state and trying to handcuff us, preventing us from exercising responsibly, through the laws of war as we obey them, and we are subordinate to them,\u201d Netanyahu said. \u201cHe\u2019s saying we are not. He\u2019s creating false symmetry, false facts, and he\u2019s doing a grave injustice to the international court.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regarding his plans for what happens when the war ends, he explained their goals after destroying Hamas include demilitarizing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/gaza\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Gaza<\/a> and ensuring the region seeks a civilian administration not affiliated with the terrorist group. He said another goal is to rebuild Gaza \u201cin a peaceful way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign-policy\/3010233\/biden-outrageous-icc-arrest-warrants-netanyahu-israel-leaders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>President Joe Biden also criticized the ICC\u2019s plans<\/a> for arrest warrants, calling them \u201coutrageous\u201d and stressing that \u201cthere is no equivalence\u201d between Israel and Hamas.
