The legal notice indicates the estate&#8217;s auction, prompting Keough to obtain a restraining order due to alleged fraud.\u2064 The lawsuit raises \u200cconcerns about \u200bforgery and\u2062 questions the legitimacy of the property&#8217;s loan agreement.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<header> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/news\/\">  News <\/a>   <span> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/russdavis\/\">  <\/a> <\/p>\n<p> <span>   By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/russdavis\/%20\"><span>Jack Davis<\/span><\/a> <\/span> <span>   May 21, 2024 at 7:02am <\/span> <\/span>  <\/header>\n<section>\n<p>Although a legal notice has been filed claiming Graceland will be sold at a foreclosure sale, Elvis Presley\u2019s granddaughter is working to block the sale of the icon\u2019s mansion in Memphis, Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>Riley Keough, whose mother, Lisa Marie Presley, died in January 2023, secured a temporary restraining order <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/priscilla-presley-locked-graceland-mansion-granddaughter-goes-rogue-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">against the sale<\/a> Monday with a hearing scheduled for Wednesday, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/wreg.com\/news\/nation-and-world\/graceland-set-for-foreclosure-auction-notice-states-elvis-heir-claims-fraud-fights-sale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WREG-TV<\/a> in Memphis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a Scam!\u201d Priscilla Presley, the singer\u2019s ex-wife, said Tuesday in a post on X.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">It\u2019s a Scam ! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/G0NJxOpbsW\">pic.twitter.com\/G0NJxOpbsW<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Priscilla Presley (@Cilla_Presley) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Cilla_Presley\/status\/1792766867419046296?\">May 21, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The notice said Graceland and the surrounding acreage will be auctioned off for cash on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>It claimed Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis\u2019 daughter, used the estate as collateral for a $3.8 million loan with a Missouri company, Naussany Investments and Private Lending.<\/p>\n<p>The money was never paid back, the notice said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/now-know-fate-lisa-marie-presleys-multi-million-dollar-estate-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Keough<\/a> argued in a <a href=\"https:\/\/wreg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2024\/05\/Riley-Keough-Naussany-Graceland-lawsuit.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lawsuit<\/a> that the whole thing is a fraud.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Do you like Elvis&#8217; music?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The lawsuit said \u201cthe note and deed of trust are fraudulent and unenforceable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe purported note and deed of trust are products of fraud and those individuals who were involved in the creation of such documents are believed to be guilty of the crime of forgery,\u201d the suit said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn information and belief, Naussany Investments &#038; Private Lending LLC is not a real entity,\u201d it said. \u201cNaussany Investments &#038; Private Lending LLC appears to be a false entity created for the purpose of defrauding the Promenade Trust (the trust of Keough and formerly of Lisa Marie Presley), the heirs of Lisa Marie Presley, or any purchaser of Graceland at a non-judicial sale.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit also said the woman listed as the notary for the document backing up the company\u2019s claims \u201cconfirmed she has never met Lisa Marie Presley nor notarized any document for her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/05\/20\/business\/graceland-elvis-granddaughter-fights-foreclosure-sale\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> said it emailed Naussany Investments &#038; Private Lending LLC and got an automated reply that said, \u201cWe are currently out of the office; we will resume normal business hours on Tuesday May 28, 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">To My Elvis Friends\u2026 Graceland will be just fine. I do not believe this claim Lisa Marie used it for collateral in a loan.<\/p>\n<p>It would\u2019ve come up in the lawsuit between Riley &#038; Priscilla.<\/p>\n<p>Elvis is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nolte-will-smith-blew-up-30-years-of-goodwill-in-30-seconds\/\" title=\"Nolte: Will Smith Blew Up 30 Years of Goodwill in 30 Seconds\">billion dollar brand<\/a>. CNN was also unable to locate a business by that name when searching nationwide,\u201d the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>WREG noted that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-lisa-marie-presleys-graceland-funeral-draws-crowd-hundreds-elvis-buried\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Elvis<\/a> bought Graceland in 1957. Lisa Marie Presley inherited it after her father died in 1977.
