He gave the commands for the salute, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kansascity.com\/news\/article285774336.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Kansas City Star<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stream \u201cThe War on the Truth\u201d\u00a0NOW. He pleaded guilty in February to one count of obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder, according to a news release from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-dc\/pr\/kansas-man-sentenced-obstruction-law-enforcement-during-jan-6-capitol-breach\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DOJ<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He had gone into the Capitol but was<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-dc\/defendants\/kuehne-christopher\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> not charged<\/a> with engaging in violence or destroying property. Keuhne was an associate of the Kansas City Proud Boys, the DOJ said.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u201cThat was it. So at that moment Chris\u2019 cellphone rang and loud and clear I heard, \u2018Chris Kuehne this is the FBI, you need to come out of your house immediately,&#8217;\u201d Annette recounted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd it was freezing cold. It was like 7 degrees without the wind chill there in Kansas,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Annette said that when she looked down, she saw red aiming lasers from the FBI\u2019s weapons moving around her and wondered, \u201cIs that pointed at me?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI looked down at my chest, and I realized my little 4-year-old was standing right next to me and I saw them on him too,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The agents \u201cwere yelling at Chris to turn around, and at that moment I heard them tackle him down and throw him in the snow, and I heard him scream in pain because he had just had surgery on his left wrist,\u201d Annette told Searcy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stream \u201cThe War on the Truth\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/movies.westernjournal.com\/pages\/thewarontruthmovie\/?utm_source=website&#038;utm_medium=westernjournalism&#038;utm_campaign=warontruth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NOW<\/a>. Rent for $7.77 for 48 hours or make a digital purchase for $17.76.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She then turned and tried to screen her son from everything that was happening.<\/p>\n<p>The FBI agents quickly whisked her husband away from the home and for a while blocked Annette and her son from returning inside their home.<\/p>\n<p>The next morning she was not feeling well, she told Searcy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat Friday morning, I woke up, and I think just all the stress, not sleeping, not eating \u2014 I just felt kind of off. And when I went to the doctor\u2019s appointment, she did an ultrasound, and I was just feeling maybe I didn\u2019t eat enough or just feeling kind of lightheaded and sick,\u201d Annette said.<\/p>\n<p>She was alone in the examining room when she noticed she was bleeding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I got up, that\u2019s when there was just blood dripping everywhere,\u201d Annette said.<\/p>\n<p>The doctor then told her, \u201cI\u2019m really sorry, but if you don\u2019t have emergency surgery, you\u2019re going to bleed to death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo I didn\u2019t know if I was going to see my son again or Chris or anybody because I was by myself,\u201d Annette recalled.<\/p>\n<p>She said she prayed to God and went into surgery.<\/p>\n<p>When Annette came to, she learned the devastating news. \u201cI lost my baby,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She said she was numb for months afterward and then finally the emotions of grief, loss and fear came flooding in.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the hardest thing because now you have a loss of life that we\u2019re dealing with besides everything else,\u201d Annette said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere hasn\u2019t been a day that\u2019s gone by that I haven\u2019t thought about that day and the baby and everything else, and what would we be like today,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Annette concluded, \u201cI think that law enforcement has been weaponized, and it\u2019s being used against the American citizen. And it\u2019s to make a statement that \u2018if you don\u2019t like what we\u2019re saying or we\u2019re doing, then this is the treatment you\u2019re going to get.\u2019 And that\u2019s what it feels like.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chris agreed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really concerned for this country in a lot of ways,\u201d he told Searcy. \u201cThis country was founded on a certain set of principles. God is the centerpiece. He sits at the throne. And that\u2019s the way this country was founded by our forefathers, and I think that we have moved so far beyond that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In February, Keuhne was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-dc\/pr\/kansas-man-sentenced-obstruction-law-enforcement-during-jan-6-capitol-breach\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sentenced<\/a> to 75 days in prison and 24 months of supervised release, which includes 60 days of home detention.
