Kennedy Jr. committed to honoring\u2062 a $5 billion reparations \u200bplan for \u200cblack\u200d farmers, altered due to objections from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/texas-official-sues-biden-administration-for-discriminating-against-white-farmers\/\" title=\"Texas Official Sues Biden Administration For Discriminating Against White Farmers\u00a0\">white farmers<\/a> over constitutional rights. Speaking on a podcast with John Boyd\u2062 Jr., RFK Jr. vowed to address the\u2064 issue and remove obstacles hindering the plan&#8217;s progress. The plan aimed to repay \u2064loans that black farmers were entitled to but were unfairly taken from them. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. \u200dpledged to uphold a $5 billion reparations plan for black farmers,\u2064 modified after white farmers raised concerns about constitutional rights. In a podcast with John Boyd Jr., RFK \u2063Jr. promised to tackle the challenges obstructing the plan&#8217;s advancement. Kennedy Jr.<\/a> promised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/african-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>black<\/a> farmers he would make good on a $5 billion reparations plan that was watered down after white farmers complained it infringed on their constitutional rights. <\/p>\n<p>RFK Jr., <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-13440491\/RFK-Jr-vows-black-farmers-5-BILLION-reparations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>speaking<\/a> on his podcast with John Boyd Jr., founder of the National Black Farmers Association, promised to \u201cget rid\u201d of the people who held up the plan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat $5 billion is not money, that is an entitlement,\u201d he told Boyd. \u201cIt\u2019s money that was a loan that black farmers were entitled to way back when and was stolen from them through discrimination.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Boyd sued President <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Joe Biden<\/a>\u2018s administration for failing to provide reparations listed in a relief package that would\u2019ve assisted people of color and \u201csocially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers\u201d in the agriculture industry. <\/p>\n<p>The money did not make it to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-shazam-movie-has-gay-super-hero-because-of-course-it-does\/\" title=\"New \u2018Shazam\u2019 Movie Has Gay Super Hero Because Of Course It Does\">farmers due<\/a> to the package, part of the American Rescue Plan, stalling in the courts, with white farmers saying the relief violated their constitutional rights.<\/p>\n<p>Boyd said in the lawsuit that \u201cthey broke their promise to black farmers and other farmers of color.\u201d The plan would have paid back \u201cup to 120 percent of direct or guaranteed farm loan balances for black, American Indian, Hispanic, Asian American or Pacific Islander farmers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Former President Donald Trump\u2019s Make America Great Again Inc. blasted the statements by citing a <em>New York Post<\/em> article in an email describing the story.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAny public official who thinks it is the government\u2019s role to pick winners and losers based on the color of their skin does not belong in public office,\u201d Gene Hamilton, America First Legal executive director and general counsel, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/05\/20\/us-news\/rfk-jr-says-he-would-give-black-farmers-5b-in-reparations-despite-ruling-that-its-unconstitutional\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>told<\/a> the <em>New York Post<\/em> in the article cited by Trump\u2019s team.<\/p>\n<p>The proposition was later placed into the Inflation Reduction Act, as the $5 billion was split up into a $2 billion fund for farmers who have faced discrimination and $3 billion to the Agriculture Department to distribute to farmers financially struggling regardless of race.<\/p>\n<p>Several legal challenges led to the change as leaders feared it could stall the efforts for years. A spokesperson for the Agriculture Department said the agency was \u201cmoving aggressively to implement these provisions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy\u2019s statement is a likely attempt to appeal to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/its-happening-trump-now-up-in-michigan-florida-pennsylvania-and-tied-in-wisconsin-and-black-hispanic-and-evangelical-vote-is-up-from-2016\/\" title=\"IT'S HAPPENING!
