The ICC&#8217;s move was\u200c met with condemnation by Israel, highlighting the lack of jurisdiction due to Israel not being a\u200b signatory of the Rome Statute. Netanyahu deemed the decision a moral outrage and defended Israel&#8217;s actions against Hamas.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed the International Criminal Court on Monday after it issued highly controversial arrest warrants for top Israeli officials over the country\u2019s war against the Hamas terrorist organization.<\/p>\n<p>The ICC requested arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for what it claimed were war crimes in Gaza where Hamas terrorists have dramatically inflated the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/godzilla-vs-king-kong-alls-well-that-ends-well-really\/\" title=\"Godzilla Vs. King Kong: All\u2019s Well That Ends Well? Really?\">civilian death toll<\/a> to such an extent that the United Nations recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/un-drastically-revises-downward-number-of-identified-women-children-killed-in-gaza\/\">cut its estimate<\/a> of the number of casualties in half.<\/p>\n<p>Israel has already ripped the ICC in the past, noting that their arrest warrants carry no legitimacy as Israel is not a signatory of the Rome Statute of the ICC and is consequently not bound by its rulings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe outrageous decision by the ICC prosecutor, Karim Khan, to seek arrest warrants against the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/house-democrat-suggests-stripping-catholic-church-of-tax-exempt-status-if-biden-denied-communion\/\" title=\"House Democrat Suggests Stripping Catholic Church Of Tax-Exempt Status If Biden Denied Communion\">democratically elected leaders<\/a> of Israel is a moral outrage of historic proportions. It will cast an everlasting mark of shame on the international court,\u201d Netanyahu said in a video statement. \u201cIsrael is waging a just war against Hamas, a genocidal terrorist organization that perpetrated the worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Hamas massacred 1200 Jews, raped Jewish women, burned Jewish babies, took hundreds hostage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, in the face of these horrors, Mr. Khan creates a twisted and false moral equivalence between the leaders of Israel and the henchmen of Hamas. This is like creating a moral equivalence after September 11th between President Bush and Osama Bin Laden, or during World War II between FDR and Hitler,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Netanyahu called the \u201cabsurd charges\u201d a \u201cdisgrace\u201d and a \u201ctravesty of justice\u201d, saying that it was nothing more than a ploy to stop the country from destroying Hamas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I assure you of one thing: This attempt will utterly fail,\u201d he said. \u201cEighty years ago, the Jewish people were totally defenseless against our enemies. Those days are over. Now the Jewish people have a state and we have an army to defend our state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that Israel will continue to execute its war \u201cin full compliance with international law\u201d which includes its unprecedented measures to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-russia-claims-separatist-regions-have-asked-for-its-help-fighting-ukraines-military\/\" title=\"BREAKING: Russia Claims Separatist Regions Have Asked For Its Help Fighting Ukraine\u2019s Military\">prevent civilian casualties<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMr. Khan also sets a dangerous precedent that undermines every democracy\u2019s right to defend itself against terror organizations and aggressors. The ICC has no jurisdiction over Israel and Mr. Khan\u2019s actions will not stop us from waging our just war against Hamas,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019s doing something else. He is callously pouring gasoline on the fires of antisemitism that are raging across the world. Through this incendiary decision, Mr. Khan takes his place among the great antisemites in modern times.
