They say that in polls, and part of the reason for that may be the numbers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Burnett then recounted the grim figures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe cost of buying a home in the United States is double what it was when you look at your monthly cost from before the pandemic,\u201d she said. \u201cReal income when you account for inflation is actually down since you took office. Economic growth last week \u2014 far short of expectations. Consumer confidence, maybe no surprise, is near a two-year low.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith less than six months to go to Election Day, are you worried that you\u2019re running out of time to turn that around?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And Biden\u2019s delusional answer?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve already turned it around!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>After citing a survey claiming that most Americans thought they were \u201cpersonally in good shape,\u201d the president declared other poll results to be inaccurate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe polling data has been wrong all along,\u201d Biden said. \u201cHow many \u2014 you guys do a poll at CNN. How many folks you have to call to get one response?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea that we\u2019re in a situation where things are so bad, the folks that \u2014 I mean, we\u2019ve created more jobs. We\u2019ve made \u2014 we\u2019re in a situation where people have access to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">good-paying jobs<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4P1E9iKf__Q?si=KYF0PLAQbLR__GHG&#038;start=334\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>One might be tempted to ask <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-gets-even-delusional-says-can-win-red-state-lost\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden<\/a> what color the sky is in his world, but the octogenarian president has not been alone in his denial.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2024\/05\/19\/biden-senators-swing-states-polling\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Axios<\/a> reported Sunday, many Democratic senators have echoed his words denying the accuracy of polls that predict a victory for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/shock-poll-young-voters-break-trump-two-top-2024-issues\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Debbie Stabenow of Michigan told the outlet point blank, \u201cNo, I do not think that they are accurate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Raphael Warnock of Georgia cited anecdotal examples of folks who were down in the polls but ended up winning elections.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">I\u2019m fine with letting them believe their imaginary world \ud83d\ude0e<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Johnny Hawes \u271d\ufe0f\u2022\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8 (@johnnyh996) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/johnnyh996\/status\/1792302861675598190?\">May 19, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Now, obviously, polls are imperfect, and many have been wildly wrong in the past. Remember Democrats\u2019 shock and disbelief that Trump beat Hillary Clinton in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bidens-incoming-press-secretary-called-fox-news-racist-said-2016-election-stolen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2016<\/a>?<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Do you believe the polls showing Trump leading Biden?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>But with even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/05\/13\/us\/politics\/biden-trump-battleground-poll.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times\u2019 polls<\/a> showing Biden trailing the GOP candidate in five key swing states, and polls from other liberal outlets \u2014 including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/05\/15\/politics\/trump-presidency-memories-biden-analysis\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> \u2014 also showing Trump gains, Biden and the Democrats\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/msnbc-disaster-panel-goes-rogue-rips-biden-apart-catastrophic-morning-joe-segment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">denial<\/a> has seemed less prudent and more foolish.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, as the Times\u2019 Ezra Klein noted in his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/05\/19\/opinion\/biden-trump-polls-debates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sunday column,<\/a> not only was the president\u2019s claim regarding the polls in his CNN interview false on its face, but whenever the polls have been wrong in recent years, it has been in favor of Democrats, not Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>The fact is, while not wholly accurate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nyt-polls-find-trump-upended-electoral-map-leads-biden-5-battleground-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls<\/a> have generally given a good reading on what the country believes and how it feels.<\/p>\n<p>And, based on the polls, Americans have grown fed up with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-disaster-poll-not-trump-beat-biden-trump-wallops-biden-replacements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden\u2019s<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-far-left-weighs-benching-joe-biden-after-2022-midterms\/\" title=\"Report: Far-Left Weighs Benching Joe Biden After 2022 Midterms\">disastrous presidency<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During his time in the White House, America\u2019s status on the global stage has declined, crime has increased and the economy has hit the skids.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone still living in the real world, regardless of his or her political loyalties, realized this long ago.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hillary-calls-america-unify-behind-biden-fight-election-denialism-gets-roasted-social-media\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Democrats<\/a> would like to come back to that world and recognize they might very well lose.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>A Note from Our Deputy Managing Editor:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>\u201cWe don\u2019t even know if an election will be held in 2024.\u201d Those 12 words have been stuck in my head since I first read them. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span>Former Lt.
