Trump has been pushing to debate Biden for months, but Biden only agreed to do so in the past few days.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> reached out to Biden\u2019s campaign for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans have been questioning Biden\u2019s mental capabilities for years, noting consistent gaffes, confusion, and other potential indicators of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-queen-elizabeth-will-privately-quiz-senior-royals-over-meghan-and-harrys-racism-claims\/\" title=\"Report: Queen Elizabeth Will \u2018Privately Quiz\u2019 Senior Royals Over Meghan And Harry\u2019s Racism Claims\">declining mental state<\/a>. Recent polling suggests that voters do not trust that Biden has the mental capacity to govern the country, with the <em>Associated Press<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/politics\/growing-share-of-u-s-adults-doubt-bidens-mental-capability-to-serve-as-president-ap-poll-finds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>finding<\/a> in March about 60% of Americans said they are not very or not at all confident in his mental state. That is an increase from roughly 50% in January 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Luna explained the reason Republicans have been pushing to hear the audio from special counsel Robert Hur\u2019s interview with Biden is because \u201cwe need to ensure that this individual is essentially capable of not just leading this country, but he can make those tough decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cFrankly, I\u2019m not trying to be funny here, we don\u2019t necessarily trust that he can do that right now,\u201d she concluded. I absolutely believe that from a medical viewpoint and actually have a little bit of good knowledge that happened,\u201d Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC), a licensed medical <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/doctor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>doctor<\/a>, said last week. \u201cHe can\u2019t stand, and he can\u2019t stand under the lights for that long, and I don\u2019t think he can keep a concept in his brain that long.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bartiromo asked a similar question to independent presidential candidate Robert F.
