Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Lauren Boebert (R-CO), and Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL). <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was in New York for all of today\u2019s court activities, which precludes my travel back to Washington prior to votes,\u201d Gaetz told the <em>Washington Examiner <\/em>on Thursday. \u201cI would have voted for the measure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both Boebert and Luna returned in time to attend a scheduled Oversight Committee hearing to vote on advancing a measure that would hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress, which began around 8 p.m. However, Luna\u2019s absence during votes became a jab as the committee meeting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/3007998\/speaker-johnson-chaotic-garland-contempt-hearing-regrettable\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>devolved into chaos and personal attacks<\/a> among members. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think these 17-hour days might not work for us,\u201d ranking member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said as Reps.
