I thank the Board for its thorough investigation, and I approve their pardon recommendation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Far-left Travis County District Attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/austin-court-finds-army-sgt-guilty-murder-blm-protesters-blocked-car-gunfire-broke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jos\u00e9 Garza<\/a> slammed the pardon in a comment obtained by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/texas-gov-greg-abbott-pardons-daniel-perrry-army-sergeant-convicted-mu-rcna152661\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When taking on Abbott and the parole and pardon board, Garza categorized the pardon as a class issue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir actions are contrary to the law and demonstrate that there are two classes of people in this state where some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dems-lost-all-credibility-on-social-distancing-after-biden-celebrations\/\" title=\"Dems Lost All Credibility On Social Distancing After Biden Celebrations\">lives matter<\/a> and some lives do not,\u201d the DA said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey have sent a message to Garrett Foster\u2019s family, to his partner, and to our community that his life does not matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/family-armed-blm-protester-killed-2020-files-legal-action-army-sergeant-shot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Foster<\/a> was filmed in a viral interview on the evening he was killed while legally armed with a rifle in downtown Austin.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>WARNING: The following video contains language that some viewers might find offensive.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">I didn\u2019t know Garrett Foster and I wish he were alive.
