Wanted to give everyone an update and thank you all for your kind words and encouraging prayers. They have meant so much to us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cSo I just want to say, first off that we\u2019re doing well,\u201d the former Hallmark Channel star said.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re actually doing really well, considering everything.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cYou know this season, obviously is the most traumatic thing that we\u2019ve ever had to go through as a family, let alone I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever experienced anything quite like this. And I hope to never ever have to experience anything like this again,\u201d she added. \u201cBut it\u2019s been really incredible to see how God has just moved through our family during this time. We have obviously felt a lot of pain. A lot of pain. And nobody could figure out what was wrong.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cBut I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever surrendered in this way to God in my life,\u201d PenaVega said. \u201cLike you think, \u2018God, I\u2019m gonna surrender. I\u2019m gonna surrender. I\u2019m gonna surrender.\u2019 But until you get to this point, you don\u2019t even realize the type of surrender that you\u2019re capable of.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAnd let me tell you, Indy\u2019s little life has transformed us,\u201d she added. \u201cLike, completely. Our family has never been stronger, my faith has never been stronger, my marriage has never been stronger.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She then began to get very emotional and broke down in tears as she talked about how their daughter\u2019s \u201clife was so purposeful in just that short little bit that we had with her.
