Despite Hunter \u200bpleading not guilty,\u200c there are concerns about the \u2064potential prison sentence he might \u200dreceive.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Aides to President<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/joe-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Joe Biden<\/a> are reportedly concerned about the \u201cpsychological torment\u201d that may come with his son, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/hunter-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hunter Biden<\/a>, going to trial in the coming months on gun and tax charges.<\/p>\n<p>POLITICO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/05\/15\/hunter-biden-trial-psychological-torment-00158028\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cited<\/a> unnamed advisers who said members of the first family are fretting how the \u201cweight\u201d of Hunter Biden going to trial will affect President Biden in an already difficult time politically.<\/p>\n<p>The report also noted how President Biden has expressed fears about the possibility that his son, who is 54, will end up serving prison time.<\/p>\n<p>President Biden \u201cworries about Hunter every single day, from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep,\u201d one of the advisers told POLITICO. \u201cThat will only pick up during a trial.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden has pleaded not guilty to gun and tax charges in a pair of federal indictments. His gun trial in Delaware is expected to begin on June 3 after a judge <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/hunter-biden-trial-firearms-charges-f7e30bff8d0e96e850fa17c67fc13eb6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rejected a bid<\/a> to delay the prosecution.
