Kennedy Jr.<\/p>\n<p>Second, all candidates must file a formal statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission, which all have done.<\/p>\n<p>The third one would be a little trickier: Candidates must be on the ballot in enough states to reach the 270 electoral vote threshold needed to win the presidency.<\/p>\n<p>The only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/view-co-hosts-panic-third-party-candidate-will-bidens-chances-not-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">third party candidate<\/a> anywhere near that threshold (though still not exactly close) would be Kennedy.<\/p>\n<p>Granted, as of now, it\u2019s not all that likely \u2014 he\u2019s on the ballot in five states and says he has enough signatures to qualify for six more, but there isn\u2019t any guarantee of that happening.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Will Trump win the debate on June 27?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Kennedy himself seemed to believe that Trump and Biden were deliberately excluding him, taking to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-new-acting-attorney-general-jeff-rosen-recently-wrote-an-essay-on-foreign-influence-in-us-elections-this-tells-us-a-little-about-his-knowledge-of-whats-going-on-today\/\" title=\"The New Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen Recently Wrote an Essay on Foreign Influence in US Elections \u2013 This Tells Us A Little About His Knowledge of What\u2019s Going On Today\">social media platform<\/a> X to complain: \u201cThey are trying to exclude me from their debate because they are afraid I would win.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Presidents Trump and Biden are colluding to lock America into a head-to-head match-up that 70% say they do not want.<\/p>\n<p>They are trying to exclude me from their debate because they are afraid I would win. Kennedy Jr (@RobertKennedyJr) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RobertKennedyJr\/status\/1790758680381591981?\">May 15, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/05\/15\/rfk-biden-trump-2024-debates-00158162\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Politico<\/a> likewise noted that, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-rfk-jr-says-full-term-abortions-allowed-doesnt-want-leave-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kennedy<\/a> still may not qualify for the debate in time as most states choose late summer to certify eligible candidates.<\/p>\n<p>Still, Kennedy has not been that far off of the polling threshold <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-tries-get-tough-trump-channeling-clint-eastwood-debate-challenge-doesnt-go\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> set at 15 percent approval in four different polls, reaching, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/mollybohannon\/2024\/05\/15\/will-rfk-jr-get-to-debate-trump-and-biden-not-based-on-current-polling-heres-why\/?sh=289d938b541c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forbes<\/a> noted, 14 percent in a recent Marist College Poll, 10 percent in a New York Times poll, and even 16 percent in a recent CNN poll and April Quinnipiac University poll.<\/p>\n<p>Will that be enough for him to qualify for the debate?<\/p>\n<p>Probably not \u2014 and, seeing how <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/confirmed-biden-trump-confirm-historically-early-debate-cnn-will-set-tone-campaign\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden\u2019s team<\/a> desperately want him contending against no more than one candidate, they might undertake further maneuvers to keep him off the debate stage.<\/p>\n<p>Still, if the word got around he was on the cusp of qualifying, that could give him the boost he would need in the polls.<\/p>\n<p>Would Trump or Biden benefit if <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rfk-jr-s-family-ditches-endorses-biden-2024-election-major-blow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kennedy<\/a> qualifies for the debate?<\/p>\n<p>As of right now, it would still be hard to say.<\/p>\n<p>It would add a major element of unpredictability, of which there are already plenty in this most unusual of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gov-brian-kemp-may-just-given-georgia-trump-2024-election-signs-new-election-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">presidential races<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At least it will be entertaining, if it\u2019s nothing else.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>An Important Message from Our Staff:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>In just a few months, the world is going to change forever.
