Former President Donald\u2063 Trump&#8217;s Boeing 757 was involved in a minor incident at West \u2064Palm Beach International Airport,\u2064 where it clipped an unoccupied private jet. \u2062The Federal Aviation\u2064 Administration is \u2062looking\u200c into the matter, and \u2064it&#8217;s uncertain if Trump was\u200d present during the incident. \u2063However,\u2064 Trump maintains a lead\u200c in \u2062battleground polls against President Joe Biden in various \u2062states. Upper III<\/span><\/a> <\/span> <span>   May 15, 2024 at 8:40am <\/span> <\/span>  <\/header>\n<section>\n<p>According to a notice from the Federal Aviation Administration, former President Donald Trump\u2019s Boeing 757 \u201cclipped\u201d an unoccupied private jet Sunday while taxiing after landing at West Palm Beach International Airport.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAIRCRAFT TAXIING AND WINGLET STRUCK THE REAR ELEVATOR OF A PARKED VISTAJET,\u201d the notice reads, as cited by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfla.com\/news\/florida\/trumps-plane-clips-parked-plane-at-florida-airport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WFLA<\/a> (emphasis original).<\/p>\n<p>The outlet noted that the FAA included the plane\u2019s registration number, N757AF, which FAA records show belonging to DJT Operations I LLC.<\/p>\n<p>The report indicated that any damage that might have occurred in the incident was as yet unknown, but that no one had been injured.<\/p>\n<p>Also unknown was whether the former president himself was on his 757 at the time of the incident, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dei-action-faa-pushes-hire-people-severe-intellectual-psychiatric-disabilities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FAA<\/a> told the station that it was still investigating.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA privately owned Boeing 757 landed safely at West Palm Beach International Airport around 1:20 a.m. local time on Sunday, May 12,\u201d an FAA spokesperson told WFLA in a statement. \u201cWhile taxiing, its winglet contacted a parked and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trumps-private-jet-clips-unoccupied-aircraft-landing-in-florida\/\" title=\"Trump's jet collides with unoccupied plane during landing in Florida\">unoccupied corporate jet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe incident occurred in an area of the airport where the FAA does not direct aircraft,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>The news came out Tuesday amid what the Trump campaign must have seen as more positive reports of the former president\u2019s polling ahead of November\u2019s presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>CNN, for example, Trump is leading President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-airlines-suing-biden-administration-warn-newest-move-will-greatly-confuse-customers-complicate-buying-process\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden<\/a> in three battleground states by such wide margins that a CNN analyst called the numbers \u201can absolute disaster\u201d for Biden\u2019s campaign.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Do you support Donald Trump?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten said the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nyt-polls-find-trump-upended-electoral-map-leads-biden-5-battleground-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">latest polls<\/a> showed Trump beating the president in Arizona, Georgia and Nevada, and within the margin of error of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/is-america-doomed-alarming-polls-of-pro-socialism-pro-violence-gen-z-say-so\/\" title=\"Is America Doomed? Alarming Polls of Pro-Socialism, Pro-Violence Gen Z Say So\">polls conducted<\/a> in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrankly, for the Joe Biden campaign, these numbers are an absolute disaster,\u201d Enten said Monday. \u201cThe smallest lead is in Arizona for Donald Trump. He\u2019s up 6. Look at this, 9 in Georgia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/05\/13\/us\/politics\/biden-trump-battleground-poll.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Times\/Siena College polls<\/a> of 4,097 registered voters were conducted in the six battleground states from April 28 to May 9. (The Philadelphia Inquirer contributed to the Pennsylvania poll, the Times noted.)<\/p>\n<p>The Nevada survey had the presumptive GOP nominee over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-nightmare-ashley-confirms-judge-showers-dad-diary-really\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden<\/a> by 13 points.<\/p>\n<p>The CNN reporter noted that Trump\u2019s smaller leads in Pennsylvania (3 points) and Wisconsin (1 point) were within the margin of error.<\/p>\n<p>However, Biden\u2019s 1-point lead in Michigan was also within striking range for Trump.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy goodness gracious. \u2026 That is a huge lead,\u201d Enten said. \u201cNo Democrat has lost that state since [former Sen.] John Kerry lost it back in 2004.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Here\u2019s my deal on the NYT polling out this AM. It leaves him a (narrow) path to 270 at this point <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/gkM7pppR3K\">pic.twitter.com\/gkM7pppR3K<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 (((Harry Enten))) (@ForecasterEnten) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ForecasterEnten\/status\/1790005532339707964?\">May 13, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>When asked why the former president was outperforming the incumbent so dramatically, Enten said it\u2019s because \u201cthe Trump coalition is changing\u201d and getting more racially diverse.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed out that the Republican candidate has gained ground with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-nfl-legend-lawrence-taylor-joins-trump-stage-announces-left-democratic-party-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nonwhite voters<\/a> even though he has lost some traction among white voters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe sense that Mr. Biden would do little to improve the nation\u2019s fortunes has helped erode his standing among young, Black and Hispanic voters, who usually represent the foundation of any Democratic path to the presidency,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/05\/13\/us\/politics\/biden-trump-battleground-poll.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times<\/a> wrote Monday of its survey.<\/p>\n<p>The left-leaning Times argued that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/poll-most-americans-dont-think-biden-would-make-it-through-a-second-term\/\" title=\"Poll: Majority of Americans Doubt Biden's Ability for Second Term.\">poll results suggest<\/a> that Americans perceive a nation in turmoil under the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-cnn-reporter-shows-absolute-disaster-for-biden-live-on-air-as-trump-pads-dominant-lead\/\" title=\"Watch CNN reporter expose Biden's crisis as Trump extends lead\">findings reveal widespread dissatisfaction<\/a> with the state of the country and serious doubts about Mr. Biden\u2019s ability to deliver major improvements to American life,\u201d the Times said. \u201cNearly 70 percent of voters say that the country\u2019s political and economic systems need major changes \u2014 or even to be torn down entirely.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>A Note from Our Deputy Managing Editor:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>I heard a chilling comment the other day: \u201cWe don\u2019t even know if an election will be held in 2024.\u201d <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span>That wasn\u2019t said by a conspiracy theorist or a doomsday prophet.
