The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fellow-dem-calls-on-cuellar-to-resign-after-indictment\/\" title=\"Democratic Colleague Urges Cuellar to Step Down Following Indictment\">indicted officials<\/a> included Giuliani, former White House chief of staff <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/mark-meadows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Mark Meadows<\/a>, and Trump campaign operative <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2816430\/who-is-mike-roman-trump-defendant-raised-fani-willis-concerns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mike Roman<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The office of Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/05\/14\/politics\/arizona-officials-giuliani-indictment-2020\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"told\">told<\/a> CNN it has served the other indicted officials but has been unable to deliver Giuliani his summons.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Mayes\u2019s office said they have made multiple attempts to deliver the notice to Giuliani that he has been indicted but that they have been unsuccessful. One of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-mom-shot-at-by-man-killed-by-police-crashes-protest-is-he-not-a-bad-guy\/\" title=\"WATCH: Mom Shot At By Man Killed By Police Crashes Protest: \u2018Is He Not A Bad Guy?\u2019\">attempts included<\/a> an apartment building in New York City in which the front desk worker said he or she was not allowed to accept service of the summons but did not dispute that Giuliani lived there.<\/p>\n<p>The notice that the Arizona Attorney General\u2019s Office is attempting to deliver would inform Giuliani that he is to appear before a judge on May 21.<\/p>\n<p>The April indictment of Giuliani alleges he and the other co-conspirators \u201cschemed to prevent the lawful transfer of the presidency to keep Unindicted Coconspirator 1 in office against the will of Arizona\u2019s voters,\u201d with \u201cUnindicted Coconspirator 1\u201d likely referring to former President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>The indictment in Arizona was the latest in a series of charges levied against Trump\u2019s allies who allegedly attempted to overturn the 2020 election results after he lost to President Joe Biden in key swing states.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trump lost the 2020 election in Arizona to Biden by less than 11,000 votes.
