Kansas Attorney General\u200b Kris Kobach emphasized the\u200d harmful\u2064 implications on female students, highlighting scenarios of potential forced cohabitation with individuals of the opposite\u200c biological sex.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A group of Republican attorneys general announced a new lawsuit against the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/biden-administration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden administration<\/a> over its changes to Title IX that would expand prohibitions on discrimination to include gender identity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The 85-page <a href=\"https:\/\/dw-wp-production.imgix.net\/2024\/05\/KS-Title-IX-Complaint-filing-copy.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lawsuit<\/a>, filed by Kansas, Utah, Alaska, Wyoming, Moms For Liberty, Young America\u2019s Foundation, and Female Athletes United, says that the rule politicizes the education system to \u201cconform to the radical ideological views of the Biden administration and its allies.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Education Department, Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, the Justice Department, and Attorney General Merrick Garland are all named in the suit. Conservatives have argued that Biden\u2019s changes to Title IX will endanger state laws keeping males out of women\u2019s sports, bathrooms, and locker rooms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cIf Biden has his way, a 16-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-admin-drops-support-for-female-high-school-students-suing-over-transgender-athletes\/\" title=\"Biden Admin Drops Support for Female High School Students Suing Over Transgender Athletes\">female high school student<\/a> on an overnight field trip could be forced to share a hotel room with a biological male who identifies as a girl or the district would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-administration-wants-to-force-public-charter-schools-to-select-students-by-race\/\" title=\"Biden Administration Wants To Force Public Charter Schools To Select Students By Race\">risk losing federal funding<\/a>,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/adfmedia.org\/press-release\/more-states-girls-sue-biden-admin-illegal-attempt-rewrite-title-ix\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach. \u201cA 14-year-old girl could be forced to share a locker room and change in front of an 18-year-old man who identifies as a woman or the district could lose funds.
