Kennedy Jr.<\/a> is eating into President <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Joe Biden<\/a>\u2018s support with key voters he has struggled to keep in his column throughout his presidency.<\/p>\n<p>Polls <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/05\/14\/us\/politics\/kennedy-battleground-poll.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>conducted<\/a> by the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/new-york-times\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>New York Times<\/a>,<\/em> Siena College, and the <em>Philadelphia Inquirer<\/em> indicate that the independent presidential candidate is drawing his strongest support from voters under 30 and Latinos, giving truth to the concern Democrats have he could spoil Biden\u2019s reelection campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy has 18% support from voters under 30 and 14% from Latinos in the swing states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/poll-half-of-republicans-right-leaning-independents-think-trump-has-best-chance-to-win-in-2024\/\" title=\"Poll: Half Of Republicans, Right-Leaning Independents Think Trump Has Best Chance To Win In 2024\">poll released earlier<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n<p>An ex-Democratic strategist previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/04\/19\/us\/politics\/rfk-jr-young-voters-latinos.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>raised the alarm<\/a> about Kennedy\u2019s polling numbers among the demographics, showing the numbers to Democratic super PACs and groups.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYoung voters and Latinos respond really well to a hard-edge economic populist message \u2014 and that is not Biden\u2019s message,\u201d Ben Tulchin said. \u201cThey\u2019re dissatisfied about the political and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/history-is-repeating-itself-in-russia\/\" title=\"History Is Repeating Itself in Russia\">economic status quo<\/a>. And I see in that mind-set the potential opening to support a third-party candidate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy\u2019s support could turn the 2024 election into \u201cmultidimensional chess, and it becomes a lot more complicated,\u201d Tulchin said, while 2020 remained two-dimensional.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/politics\/2021\/06\/30\/behind-bidens-2020-victory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>survey<\/a> found that 59% of Hispanic voters and those aged 18-29 chose Biden in 2020, both among the largest leads Democrats have in age and racial demographics.<\/p>\n<p>Both Biden and former President Donald Trump have spent time attacking the independent candidate as they consider whether Kennedy could be siphoning support away from them. Initially, it seemed Democrats would have the biggest worry with the famous Democratic Kennedy last name at his disposal.<\/p>\n<p>But Trump has turned up his attacks on the independent candidate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/05\/10\/politics\/trump-campaign-rfk-jr\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>calling<\/a> him a \u201cDemocrat plant\u201d and emphasizing that he\u2019s a leftist candidate. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kennedy drew an average of about 10% support from each swing state polled.<\/p>\n<p>Besides picking up hard support, Kennedy also appears more likable than the current and former president.
