The department\u2019s focus has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/judiciary.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/fbi-whistleblower-alleges-bureau-took-agents-off-child-sex-abuse-cases-to\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">re-routed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  resources away from other significant areas of criminal conduct, such as child sex abuse, according to an FBI whistleblower.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Justice Department has also prioritized cases against pro-life protesters, which Republicans allege have become victims of political prosecution under the Biden administration.
