The source also said Markle and Harry\u2019s foundation expects the whole matter to be resolved soon which \u2014 will should be reflected in records in the next week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced the foundation with a name inspired by their first child\u2019s, Prince Archie of Sussex. The announcement came shortly after the couple\u2019s decision to step down from their royal roles before eventually moving to southern California, where they raise their two kids, Archie and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A message on the foundation\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archewell.org\/about\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  said its \u201c\u201cmission is simple: show up, do good. We meet the moment by showing up, taking action and using our unparalleled spotlight to uplift and unite communities \u2014 local and global \u2014 through acts of service and compassion.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In a 2021 summary for the initial registration of the Archewell Foundation in CA it read that the charity is \u201can impact-driven nonprofit created by The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
