The incident has raised legal implications \u2064and criticism from involved\u200b parties.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<figure>                         <\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg\u2019s paralegal testified on Friday that his office deleted from their evidence three pages of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wray-declines-to-confirm-fbis-use-of-geolocation-data-to-track-capitol-rioters-but-says-it-would-not-surprise-me\/\" title=\"Wray Declines to Confirm FBI\u2019s Use of Geolocation Data to Track Capitol Rioters But Says It \u2018Would Not Surprise Me\u2019\">phone records<\/a><strong> <\/strong>between convicted liar Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels\u2019 lawyer Keith Davidson without notifying former President Donald Trump\u2019s legal team, according to reports. <\/p>\n<p>Trump attorney Emil Bove questioned paralegal Jaden Jarmel-Schneider on Friday about three pages of 2018 phone records between Davidson and Cohen that Bragg\u2019s office had deleted, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/politics\/live-news\/trump-hush-money-trial-05-10-24\/h_2d81aa0d37827548150bf889f12f7db2\">CNN<\/a>. Additional phone records between Daniels manager Gina Rodriguez and then-National Enquirer editor Dylan Howard regarding Daniels\u2019 claim about her alleged affair were also deleted, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/alvin-braggs-office-deleted-evidence-of-phone-calls-between-michael-cohen-and-stormy-daniels-lawyer-5648208\">The Epoch Times<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The altered call records were submitted into evidence, but Bragg\u2019s office did not tell Trump\u2019s team that three pages were missing, The Epoch Times reported. <\/p>\n<p>Tampering with evidence is a class E felony in the Empire State <a href=\"https:\/\/codes.findlaw.com\/ny\/penal-law\/pen-sect-215-40\/#:~:text=Believing%20that%20certain%20physical%20evidence,intimidation%20or%20deception%20against%20any\">under<\/a> New York Consolidation Laws, Penal Law \u00a7 215.40, which states in part:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>A person is guilty of tampering with physical evidence when: Believing that certain physical evidence is about to be produced or used in an official proceeding or a prospective official proceeding, and intending to prevent such production or use, he suppresses it by any act of concealment, alteration or destruction, or by employing force, intimidation or deception against any person.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Trump\u2019s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., took to X on Friday calling the developments \u201cinsanity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow on earth is this not a felony committed by Bragg and his minions? Bragg alleges Trump\u2019s lawyer at the time, Cohen, paid Daniels before the 2016 election to stay quiet about an alleged affair that the former president denies. Bragg alleges Trump made this payment to help win<strong> <\/strong>the 2016 election so the expenditure should have been classified as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dccc-chair-spent-big-on-travel-as-he-urged-constituents-to-stay-home-and-stop-spreading-the-virus\/\" title=\"DCCC Chair Spent Big on Travel as He Urged Constituents to \u2018Stay Home\u2019 and \u2018Stop Spreading the Virus\u2019\">campaign expense<\/a> rather than a legal expense. <\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s defense also made a motion for a mistrial, which Judge Juan Merchan denied.
