Employee resource groups are encouraged to foster a more inclusive environment \u2064and eliminate barriers to equity. Various agency-affiliated groups, such as the CIA&#8217;s Pride Employee \u2062Resource Group, aim to promote diversity and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/private-schools-religion-teacher-pushes-students-to-attend-pro-trans-rallies\/\" title=\"Religion teacher at private school urges students to join pro-trans rallies.\">support marginalized communities<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration has launched a sweeping effort to embed the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) agenda throughout the federal bureaucracy, leveraging race and sexuality-based employee associations to push for leftwing ideology within the administrative state.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s June 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/presidential-actions\/2021\/06\/25\/executive-order-on-diversity-equity-inclusion-and-accessibility-in-the-federal-workforce\/\">executive order<\/a> on \u201cdiversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the federal workforce\u201d ordered the bureaucracy to allow for the creation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/google-union-launches-drop-the-deadnames-petition-after-transgender-worker-had-id-badge-name-change-request-denied\/\" title=\"Google Union Launches \u2018Drop The Deadnames\u2019 Petition After Transgender Worker Had ID Badge Name Change Request Denied\">employee resource groups<\/a>. The groups, <a href=\"https:\/\/handbook.tts.gsa.gov\/training-and-development\/working-groups-and-guilds-101\/\">described<\/a> by the government as \u201cspaces where employees of similar identities can talk freely amongst themselves and come together based on shared identities,\u201d were supposed to \u201celiminate\u201d the \u201cbarriers to equity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It advertises several invite-only groups, including for Latinx, Working While Black, and even one called Not Your Dude, which is intended for \u201ccis women, trans women, trans men, non-binary people, and those who are otherwise marginalized (i.e., non-hegemonic masculine folks).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome groups are available by invitation-only,\u201d a government website explains. \u201cIf you do not share that identity, show your allyship by respecting those private gatherings and giving space for people to gather and talk freely amongst themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The program has support from the Office of Personnel Management, the federal government\u2019s human resources division, which has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/about-us\/agency-equity-action-plan\/summary-of-equity-progress-and-early-accomplishments\/\">hosted<\/a> two government-wide summits on employee resource groups and affinity groups. OPM says the groups serve to \u201csupport agency efforts to strategically advance DEIA.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of the Interior, these newly-created identity-based employee groups have been used organizing hubs for leftwing bureaucrats.<\/p>\n<p>The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pinkerton-joe-biden-wages-world-war-e-while-putin-wages-war-in-ukraine\/\" title=\"Pinkerton: Joe Biden Wages World War E While Putin Wages War in Ukraine\">top intelligence agency<\/a> that oversees the CIA, NSA, FBI, and elements of the Pentagon, explained in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dni.gov\/files\/documents\/FOIA\/DF-2024-00143-Dive-Winter-23-24.pdf\">document obtained<\/a> by The Daily Wire that affinity groups led a race-based leadership development program. The African American Affinity Network and the Latino Intelligence Network hosted a leadership summit where attendees \u201clearned about unique opportunities at other agencies\u201d and were invited to a workshop on building a professional brand.<\/p>\n<p>The document also shows that employee resource groups within the intelligence community for those who are Asian or Pacific Islander have influenced how America\u2019s intelligence apparatus refers to our foreign adversaries. The employee organizations \u201chave been particularly successful in creating a new framework and language guidelines for how we talk about the People\u2019s Republic of China,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dni.gov\/files\/documents\/FOIA\/DF-2024-00143-Dive-Winter-23-24.pdf\">document<\/a> obtained by The Daily Wire reads.<\/p>\n<p>At the National Security Agency (NSA), there are 10 different <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsa.gov\/culture\/diversity-equity-inclusion-accessibility\/employee-resource-groups\/\">employee resource groups<\/a>, the majority of which are based on employees\u2019 racial or ethnic backgrounds. \u201cThese employee-led groups are composed of individuals who work together to foster an inclusive and unified culture,\u201d the NSA states. \u201cIndividuals may join ERGs as either a member or ally.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The CIA\u2019s Pride Employee Resource Group, for those who identify as LGBT, organized the Intelligence Community\u2019s 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsa.gov\/Press-Room\/News-Highlights\/Article\/Article\/3078934\/2022-ic-pride-summit-embraces-bringing-authenticity-to-the-workplace\/\">Pride Summit<\/a>, which included sessions with titles like \u201cPride &#038; Color: A Queer Person of Color Experience,\u201d \u201cTransgender Inclusion Training,\u201d and \u201cLGBTQIA+ &#038; Disability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLGBTQIA\u201d+ employee resource groups from the U.S. Geological Survey, Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Land Management, and National Park Service held a panel discussion as part of a celebration of \u201ctransgender day of visibility,\u201d The Daily Wire previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-admin-celebrates-trans-day-of-visibility-by-screening-movie-pushing-for-more-queer-marine-biologists\">revealed<\/a>. Federal bureaucrats were invited to watch a mini-documentary on LGBT representation in the field of marine biology.<\/p>\n<p>The DOI and the agencies that operate underneath it have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.doi.gov\/pmb\/hr\/employee-orgs#Employee%20Orgs\">long list<\/a> of employee resource groups, like the Fish and Wildlife Services\u2019 BIPOC ERG, which exists to \u201cpromote solidarity and support among BIPOC employees and allies; in order to harness our collective strengths toward creating positive, lasting change\u202fthat advances justice, equity, diversity, inclusion.\u201d There\u2019s also the U.S. Geological Survey\u2019s Pride ERG, which seeks to \u201cassist in cultivating an inclusive and high-performing workforce that empowers all of its LGBTQ employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Department of the Treasury explained in its <a href=\"https:\/\/home.treasury.gov\/system\/files\/306\/Treasury_FY2021-2024_DI_EEO_Strategic_Plan.pdf\">diversity and inclusion plan<\/a> that employee resource groups would be leveraged to push DEI throughout the agency, meeting with bureau leadership \u201cto identify methods to promote D&#038;I throughout the organization. The National Institutes of Health similarly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edi.nih.gov\/people\/resources\/employee-resource-groups\">states<\/a> that employee resource groups are used to facilitate \u201cemployee activism inside and outside the workplace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Employee resource groups and affinity groups are just one way in which the Biden administration is embedding the DEI agenda throughout the federal bureaucracy. The Democratic incumbent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/presidential-actions\/2023\/02\/16\/executive-order-on-further-advancing-racial-equity-and-support-for-underserved-communities-through-the-federal-government\/\">signed<\/a> multiple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/presidential-actions\/2021\/06\/25\/executive-order-on-diversity-equity-inclusion-and-accessibility-in-the-federal-workforce\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-rules-ca-gov-overstepped-his-authority-with-covid-order-issues-permanent-injunction-restraining-newsom-from-further-issuing-unconstitutional-orders\/\" title=\"Judge Rules CA Gov Overstepped His Authority with Covid Order, Issues Permanent Injunction Restraining Newsom From Further Issuing Unconstitutional Orders\">executive orders<\/a><\/a> institutionalizing the leftwing doctrine, and his federal agencies have even worked to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/how-the-biden-admin-enables-government-employees-to-change-genders\">enable gender transition<\/a> attempts among government employees, barring the use of biologically accurate pronouns in the process.<\/p>\n<p>While Biden has sought to further embed the DEI agenda within the federal government, former President Donald Trump has pledged to use executive orders of his own to purge far-left bureaucrats who may otherwise undermine his agenda. \u201cWe will pass critical reforms making every executive branch employee fireable by the President of the United States,\u201d Trump said at a rally, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.govexec.com\/workforce\/2022\/03\/trump-threatening-return-and-expansion-schedule-f\/363145\/\">touting<\/a> his plan. \u201cThe deep state must be brought to heel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s allies are preparing to fill the void left by outgoing bureaucrats, with the Heritage Foundation\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.project2025.org\/\">Project 2025<\/a> assembling a personnel database that could step into the administration in the event of a Trump victory.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Biden administration aims to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the federal bureaucracy.
