And that\u2019s what you should expect Birchum to attack.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt a certain point, this stuff started being forced upon us and fed to us, and then I think that was the problem, like a lot of normal people [said], \u2018I don\u2019t want to know your pronouns, or I don\u2019t want to embrace the trans movement, or Hamas, or anything like that, and I like to walk outside without a mask,\u2019\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Carolla previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/adam-carolla-tells-ben-shapiro-the-origin-of-mr-birchum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro that he first created Mr. Birchum as a character 30 years ago on the \u201cKevin and Bean Show,\u201d which aired on L.A.\u2019s KROQ radio station.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 1994, I was a boxing coach. I was training Jimmy Kimmel to box. Jimmy, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/adam-carolla-tells-ben-shapiro-the-origin-of-mr-birchum\/\" title=\"Adam Carolla Shares the Story Behind 'Mr. Birchum' with Ben Shapiro\">sports guy back<\/a> then, for KROQ radio, for a morning stunt. He thought I was funny. He said, \u2018I think I can get you on the radio. But you\u2019ve got to come up with a character,\u2019\u201d Carolla said, adding, \u201cI said, \u2018I don\u2019t do characters.\u2019 He said, \u2018You better come up with one.\u2019 And I came up with a character called Mr. Birchum.
