Trump faces multiple trials while potentially gearing up for a rematch with President Joe Biden. Scott defended Trump as a friend, accusing\u200c Democrats of obstructing Trump&#8217;s presidential bid, highlighting concerns about\u200d biased individuals in the legal process.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_78\">\n<p>Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/rick-scott\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Rick Scott<\/a> (R-FL) claimed Sunday that all who are involved in former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s trials are \u201cpart of the Democrat machine,\u201d citing Trump\u2019s trials as election interference.<\/p>\n<p>Trump is facing a multitude of trials while running for president again, which could end up being a rematch between him and President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Joe Biden<\/a>. Scott defended the former president, calling him \u201ca friend,\u201d and accused the Democratic Party of being \u201cthugs\u201d for trying to stop Trump from running for president.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut here\u2019s the deal, just think about this,\u201d Scott said on Fox News\u2019s <em>Fox News Sunday<\/em>. \u201cThe Justice Department and Biden Justice Department sent their No. 3 person down to be the lead prosecutor. Does that not sound bad? His wife is a big donor, right? The judge is a Democrat donor. The judge\u2019s daughter is a big Democrat fundraiser. Everybody involved in this, right, is part of the Democrat machine. And so, it looks horrible what\u2019s going on here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>  Wa<\/p>\n<p>Scott also condemned the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/georgia-state-senator-reported-results-must-be-viewed-as-untrustworthy\/\" title=\"Georgia State Senator: \u201cReported Results Must Be Viewed As Untrustworthy\u201d\">gag order<\/a> that Trump has been given during his presidential run, arguing that the former president was given this order just to keep him from winning the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2024 election<\/a>. Trump has violated this gag order several times, with Judge Juan Merchan warning the former president that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/2992287\/judge-finds-trump-contempt-gag-order-threatens-incarceration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>future violations could result in him getting jail time<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Florida senator was in New York on Thursday to support the former president in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>court<\/a>, where Trump is attending his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/donald-trumps-criminal-hush-money-trial-set-for-march-25\/\" title=\"Trump's hush money trial scheduled for March 25\">hush money trial<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In regards to this year\u2019s presidential election, Scott contended that Biden cannot win voters over with his track record as president, which has consisted of conflict across the globe,\u00a0an insecure <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/border-crisis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>southern border<\/a>, and \u201cunbelievable\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/inflation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>inflation<\/a>. He argued that this is the reason Trump is facing so many legal battles because voters prefer Trump\u2019s handling as president compared to Biden\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/2992010\/trump-outpacing-biden-in-voter-trust-ahead-of-2024-election-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>A poll questioning respondents<\/a> about a rematch between Trump and Biden found that Trump is trusted on more topics among the respondents, including inflation, the war in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/gaza\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Gaza<\/a>, and safety from crime. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3000956\/manchin-admits-trump-can-beat-biden-in-2024-rematch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Sen.
