The bishop highlighted Biden&#8217;s support for Roe v. Wade and his alleged sacrilegious behavior \u2062at an abortion rally in Tampa. Paprocki \u2064quoted Bishop Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Munilla, expressing concern over \u2062Biden&#8217;s actions. In a\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-biden-claims-january-6-protesters-literally-wanted-to-hang-mike-pence\/\" title=\"Joe Biden Claims January 6 Protesters 'Literally' Wanted to Hang Mike Pence\">widely circulated video<\/a>, Bishop Thomas John\u200d Paprocki condemned President Biden \u200dfor\u2064 purportedly ridiculing the Catholic faith. Paprocki specifically addressed Biden&#8217;s endorsement of Roe v. Wade\u200d and his controversial conduct at an abortion rally in Tampa. Additionally, Paprocki cited Bishop Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Munilla, underscoring apprehension regarding Biden&#8217;s behavior.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">In what has become a viral video, a hard-line Catholic bishop accused <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/joe-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">President Biden<\/a>, who claims to be a \u201cpracticing Catholic,\u201d of mocking the Catholic faith.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Catholic bishop of Springfield, Illinois, Thomas John Paprocki, published a video titled, \u201cBiden Mocks Our Catholic Faith,\u201d in which he discussed heresy, apostasy, and schismatic behavior.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Paprocki noted that Biden promised in his State of the Union Address in March that he would do what he could to restore <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> as the law of the land.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Paprocki continued by noting a later incident in which he said Biden acted in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/star-rapper-releases-blasphemous-jesus-themed-promo-for-his-upcoming-song\/\" title=\"Rapper's Controversial Jesus-Themed Promo Sparks Attention\">sacrilegious manner<\/a>. Paprocki stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em>Last month on April 23, Biden compounded his support for the sin of abortion by making the sign of the cross during an abortion rally in Tampa, Florida. According to news reports describing the incident, Biden made the sign of the cross while a Biden supporter onstage criticized Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for signing a bill into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fairfax-county-school-officials-broke-law-reducing-asian-american-enrollment-judge-rules\/\" title=\"Fairfax County School Officials Broke Law Reducing Asian American Enrollment, Judge Rules\">law reducing<\/a> the time from which an abortion in the state would be legal from 15 to six weeks of gestation. With Biden standing next to Florida Democratic Party chairwoman Nikki Fried, she said, \u201cAnd then we come back here to the state of Florida where 15 weeks wasn\u2019t good enough, so we had to go to six weeks,\u201d referring to the new limit until which abortion is allowed under state law. As soon as Fried said, \u201cwasn\u2019t good enough,\u201d Biden began to cross himself with the sign of the cross.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Paprocki quoted Bishop Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Munilla of the Orihuela-Alicante Diocese in Spain, saying that making the sign of the cross in support of abortion constitutes a \u201csacrilegious\u201d gesture and \u201cthe desecration of the sign of the cross,\u201d that to use the sign of the cross as Biden did was to \u201cinvoke the cross in a sacrilegious manner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1700760801843000&#038;usg=AOvVaw2PQrVSrJfhxNb4LcARqniG\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI fully support Bishop Munilla and agree with what he said,\u201d Paprocki stated. \u201cTo misuse this sacred gesture is to make a mockery of our Catholic faith. The Epistle of St. Paul to the Galatians says, \u2018Make no mistake. God is not mocked.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"> In an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kdyA1tP7ORU\">interview<\/a> conducted after the release of his video, Paprocki explained:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em>Heresy is the denial, or the obstinate doubt about some truth that is to be believed with divine or Catholic faith. \u2026 If you reject something like the Ten Commandments, that\u2019s revealed by God. That\u2019s divinely revealed; God gave Moses the Ten Commandments to give to the people of Israel and to all of us. \u2026 If a person says, \u201cI don\u2019t think adultery\u2019s that big a deal, I reject the teaching,\u201d basically saying, \u201cI reject the Sixth Commandment and therefore I don\u2019t think adultery\u2019s the problem,\u201d now you\u2019re rejecting something that\u2019s divinely revealed.
