Brian Wilson, \u2062a Beach Boys member, is under\u2063 conservatorship for a\u2064 &#8220;major neurocognitive disorder,&#8221; per AP News. They explained in a statement to Fox News why they felt the court-ordered measure was necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cFollowing the passing of Brian\u2019s beloved wife Melinda, after careful consideration and consultation among Brian, his seven children, Gloria Ramos and Brian\u2019s doctors (and consistent with family processes put in place by Brian and Melinda), we are confirming that longtime Wilson family representatives LeeAnn Hard and Jean Sievers will serve as Brian\u2019s co-conservators of the person,\u201d the statement <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/beach-boys-brian-wilson-placed-conservatorship-following-dementia-diagnosis\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">said<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Prior to her passing, Wilson\u2019s wife had provided for his \u201cdaily living needs,\u201d court documents obtained by the outlet stated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThis decision was made to ensure that there will be no extreme changes to the household and Brian and the children living at home will be taken care of and remain in the home where they are cared for by Gloria Ramos and the wonderful team at the house who have been in place for many years helping take care of the family,\u201d the statement continued.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cBrian will be able to enjoy all of his family and friends and continue to work on current projects as well as participate in any activities he chooses.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wilson is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lincoln-project-rocked-by-trumpian-levels-of-scandal-disarray\/\" title=\"Lincoln Project Rocked by Trumpian Levels of Scandal, Disarray\">founding member<\/a> of The Beach Boys along with his two brothers, Carl and Dennis. The siblings started the group in their California garage in 1961.
