Nearly 12 full months later, Gardner is reportedly dodging state officials who are trying to get an accurate account of what went on behind the scenes under her leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Gardner was criticized during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/soros-backed-prosecutor-resigns-state-lawmakers-rise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">her tenure as DA<\/a> for being soft on criminals and notoriously came into office in 2016 with the support of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/soros-funded-prosecutor-resigns-effective-immediately-sets-gop-gov-massive-move\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">George Soros<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Missouri Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick first began an audit of Gardner\u2019s office in 2021 and he announced when she resigned that he would complete the audit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe knew we were prepared to enforce the subpoena in court on May 16 and chose to resign on that exact day,\u201d Fitzpatrick said in <a href=\"https:\/\/auditor.mo.gov\/news\/item\/auditor-fitzpatrick-to-continue-audit-of-kim-gardner-and-st-louis-circuit-attorneys-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/emergency-wisconsin-lawsuit-to-stop-certification-challenges-nearly-160000-votes\/\" title=\"Emergency Wisconsin Lawsuit To Stop Certification Challenges Nearly 160,000 Votes\">news release<\/a><\/a> on May 18 of last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven with her decision to step away earlier than expected, we have a duty to the people of St. Louis to complete our assessment of the performance of the Circuit Attorney\u2019s Office,\u201d the state auditor added.<\/p>\n<p>Monday, Fitzpatrick said during a <a href=\"https:\/\/auditor.mo.gov\/news\/item\/auditor-fitzpatrick-says-efforts-to-locate-kim-gardner-are-ongoing-as-his-office-works-to-complete-audit-of-the-st-louis-circuit-attorneys-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news conference<\/a> the audit is on hold because no one from his office can get in contact with Gardner to serve her with a subpoena.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Auditor Fitzpatrick met with members of the media today to provide an update on the audit of the St. Louis Circuit Attorney\u2019s Office that has been delayed because of Kim Gardner\u2019s unwillingness to make herself available to provide responses to audit staff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs I said when she\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ZBbOaSnOwP\">pic.twitter.com\/ZBbOaSnOwP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick (@Auditor_Fitz) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Auditor_Fitz\/status\/1787579161575317896?\">May 6, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Is Kim Gardner knowingly avoiding these subpoenas?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThis is a pattern of behavior with Kim Gardner, who hasn\u2019t shown a willingness to be transparent or accountable,\u201d Fitzpatrick said in Monday\u2019s news release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWithout question, she knows our audit is ongoing and that we want to speak with her about her time in office, but she has made no effort to comply with our requests or respond to our inquiries,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Fitzpatrick said efforts to reach Gardner have gone on for \u201cmonths,\u201d but her whereabouts are not known.<\/p>\n<p>He even went as far as going on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/american-social-media-star-kidnapped-haiti-state-department-taking-hands-off-approach-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> to ask the public for help in locating her:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-conversation=\"none\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">While his office continues to make every effort to obtain information from Gardner, Fitzpatrick encourages anyone who may have knowledge of her whereabouts to contact the State Auditor\u2019s Whistleblower Hotline at 800-347-8597, by email at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/where-in-the-world-is-kim-gardner-disgraced-st-louis-circuit-attorney-is-mia-as-auditor-seeks-answers\/\" title=\"Where Is Kim Gardner?'
