The illegal immigrants, however, want the city to agree to numerous provisions for migrants staying in shelters, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ex-planned-parenthood-head-bidens-public-health-guidance-so-disconnected-from-everyday-reality\/\" title=\"Ex-Planned Parenthood Head: Biden\u2019s Public Health Guidance \u2018So Disconnected\u2019 From \u2018Everyday Reality\u2019\">including allowing<\/a> them to cook their own meals with \u201cculturally appropriate ingredients provided by the City\u201d and giving them free consultations with an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/co-dems-move-to-censure-hickenlooper-for-voting-to-block-stimulus-checks-to-illegal-immigrants\/\" title=\"CO Dems Move to Censure Hickenlooper for Voting to Block Stimulus Checks to Illegal Immigrants\">immigration lawyer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[T]he City will provide on-going legal support in the form of immigration document clinics &#038; including transportation to relevant court dates,\u201d the list of demands states.<\/p>\n<p>Jon Ewing, a Denver Human Services official, said the city is concerned about the migrants remaining in the encampment and being exposed to the elements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been offering time and shelter, basically just trying to get families to leave that camp and come inside,\u201d Ewing said. \u201cWhich comes with three square meals a day. You can cook your own if you like to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Illegal immigrant advocate V Reeves said there isn\u2019t enough food provided by the city in the shelters, and sometimes the food that is provided is \u201cspoiled.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere have been so many complaints about the food being spoiled or not being enough and malnutrition amongst children,\u201d Reeves said.<\/p>\n<p>The advocate also said the migrants should receive \u201cimmigration document support\u201d from the city. They cannot kick people out in 30 days without something stable established.<\/li>\n<li>There needs to be a clear, just process before exiting someone for any reason \u2013 including verbal, written &#038; final warnings.<\/li>\n<li>All shelter residents will receive connection to employment support, including work permit applications for those who qualify.<\/li>\n<li>Consultations for each person\/family with a free immigration lawyer must be arranged to discuss\/progress their cases, &#038; then the City will provide on-going legal support in the form of immigration document clinics &#038; including transportation to relevant court dates.<\/li>\n<li>The City will provide privacy for families\/individuals within the shelter.<\/li>\n<li>No more verbal or physical or mental abuse will be permitted from the staff, including no sheriff sleeping inside &#038; monitoring 24\/7 \u2013 we are not criminals &#038; won\u2019t be treated as such.<\/li>\n<li>Transportation for all children to &#038; from their schools will be provided until they finish in 3 weeks.<\/li>\n<li>No separating families, regardless of if family members have children or not.
