SBA staff\u200c Arthur Plews \u2064and Tyler Robinson were subpoenaed for non-compliance. The SBA and Michigan Department of State\u200d initiated a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fridays-fun-fraud-fact-mysterious-spike-in-incomplete-nv-voter-registrations-13372-with-invalid-birthdates-and-casinos-and-temporary-rv-parks-as-a-home-address\/\" title=\"FRIDAY'S FUN FRAUD FACT: Mysterious Spike in Incomplete NV Voter Registrations - 13,372 with Invalid Birthdates and Casinos and Temporary RV Parks as a Home Address\">voter registration<\/a> \u200bprogram until 2036\u200c following Biden&#8217;s executive order supporting voting access.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>On Tuesday, the House Committee on Small Business subpoenaed the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/small-business-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title> Small Business Administration<\/a>, claiming that the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/biden-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title> Biden administration<\/a> was possibly violating the Constitution by funneling resources to register voters in the swing state of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/michigan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Michigan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>SBA chief of staff Arthur Plews and his special adviser, Tyler Robinson, were subpoenaed after they reportedly didn\u2019t show up at scheduled transcribed interviews with the committee and didn\u2019t turn over documents related to a program allegedly \u201cdiverting its resources away from assisting Main Street so it can register Democrat voters.\u201d This is the first time the agency has been subpoenaed by the committee, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/key-biden-agency-slapped-historic-subpoenas-improper-swing-state-voter-registration-push\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"per\">per<\/a> Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>In March, the SBA and the Michigan Department of State announced a joint effort to \u201cpromote civic engagement and voter registration in Michigan,\u201d which will last through Jan. 1, 2036. This coordinated effort came from a 2021 executive order from Biden prompting federal agencies to push for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/georgia-gop-lawmakers-are-kicking-coca-cola-out-of-their-offices-for-trashing-election-reforms\/\" title=\"Georgia GOP Lawmakers Are Kicking Coca-Cola Out Of Their Offices For Trashing Election Reforms\">greater access<\/a> to voting.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press release, SBA Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman said the collaboration \u201cwill help connect Michiganders to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidenbucks-tentacles-expand-as-judge-shuts-down-lawsuit\/\" title=\"Bidenbucks' Influence Grows Following Lawsuit Shutdown\">vital voter registration information<\/a> from the State of Michigan so that more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cuomo-to-partially-reopen-indoor-dining-in-nyc-for-valentines-day-if-positivity-rates-hold\/\" title=\"Cuomo To Partially Reopen Indoor Dining In NYC For Valentine\u2019s Day, \u2018If Positivity Rates Hold\u2019\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/donald-trump-ends-negotiations-with-nancy-pelosi-on-coronavirus-relief\/\" title=\"Donald Trump Ends Negotiations with Nancy Pelosi on Coronavirus Relief\">small business<\/a> owners<\/a> can exercise their right to vote.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As part of the Biden administration\u2019s effort, the Michigan Department of State would \u201ccreate a unique URL for the SBA to use to drive online visitors to register to vote.\u201d Meanwhile, the SBA\u2019s Michigan field office would permit state government officials to coordinate in-person voter registration during the agency\u2019s business outreach events.<\/p>\n<figure><figcaption>Rep. (AP Photo\/Jose Luis Magana)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>However, Republicans raised concerns that the move was a ploy by President Joe Biden to use a government agency to register voters in a highly competitive swing state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe committee has given these two individuals the opportunity to speak with us voluntarily without taking these actions, but this appears to be the only way to get them to comply with our oversight responsibilities,\u201d House Small Business Committee Chairman Roger Willams (R-TX) told the outlet. \u201cThe SBA\u2019s sole mission is to help Main Street thrive and grow, and they have repeatedly strayed from that mission to pursue outside political objectives.
