The controversy involves Deni Tobin, a &#8220;genderqueer&#8221; individual, accused of \u200dinappropriate\u200c topics and \u2062surveys without \u200cparental consent. A\u200b debate ensues over \u2062privacy violations and adherence to school policies, \u2064triggering investigations and parental demands for clarity.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/pennsylvania\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pennsylvania<\/a> parents are demanding answers after a \u201cqueer witch\u201d was brought into the school to speak to 14-year-olds about dating violence and survey the children on sexual topics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The controversy began last year when parents at the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District in Chester County found out that Deni Tobin, a \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.endingsvtogether.org\/network\/members\/profile?UserKey=18a5feda-a734-464b-a1dd-8b8f46bfcb67\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">genderqueer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d woman who uses male pronouns, spoke to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-education-sec-on-womens-school-sports-we-have-a-legal-responsibility-to-include-transgender-athletes\/\" title=\"Biden Education Sec On Women\u2019s School Sports: We Have a \u2018Legal Responsibility\u2019 to Include Transgender Athletes\">high school students<\/a> about dating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tobin <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C2OFkeWpmJD\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">is<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  a \u201cpractitioner astrologer and rune reader\u201d with an organization called Prana House, where Tobin regularly <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepranahouse.com\/product\/June-Queer-Witch-Hangout\/2878\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hosts<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  meetups for \u201cqueer witches.\u201d After she was brought to Unionville High School to give a talk on \u201csafe dating,\u201d the complaints from parents began to flood in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Parents began reaching out to the school to flag Tobin\u2019s presentation that used materials from pro-abortion group Planned Parenthood, and that her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sickening-video-shows-antifa-allegedly-stab-4-trump-supporters-in-washington-dc\/\" title=\"Sickening Video Shows Antifa Allegedly Stab 4 Trump Supporters in Washington DC\">social media accounts<\/a> are filled with both witch-themed and sexually explicit material \u2014 one picture features Tobin topless, showcasing that she had her breasts removed. Tobin\u2019s Instagram bio <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/flyingfishastro\/?hl=en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">contains<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  the phrases \u201cBLACK LIVES MATTER,\u201d \u201cheathens against hate,\u201d and \u201cNO TERFS OR SWERFS OR NAZIS IN VALHALLA.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The district downplayed the presentation and said parents had fallen for \u201cmisinformation,\u201d according to emails shared with The Daily Wire. But parents are resurfacing the issue after one parent, Chad Williams, a local lawyer, discovered that Tobin had also administered a sex-themed survey to the students in addition to giving the presentation on dating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to summaries of the surveys obtained by The Daily Wire, students, most of whom were 14 years old, had been asked about their gender identity and whether they had ever been \u201cpressured\u201d into a sexual act or whether someone had pressured them to do something sexual.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>When asked for comment on the situation, the district indicated that it no longer worked with Chester County Crime Victims Center.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom 2016-2023, the Chester County Crime Victims Center (CVC) provided lessons on safe dating to students at Unionville High School (UHS),\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-administration-policy-will-threaten-fundamental-rights-for-women\/\" title=\"Biden Administration Policy Will Threaten Fundamental Rights For Women\">school told<\/a> The Daily Wire. \u201cAll presenters from CVC completed required clearances and training to present from a script in schools. The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District\u2019s (UCFSD) <a href=\"https:\/\/go.boarddocs.com\/pa\/uncf\/Board.nsf\/goto?open&#038;id=CPGM6858B26B\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/go.boarddocs.com\/pa\/uncf\/Board.nsf\/goto?open%26id%3DCPGM6858B26B&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1715197720199000&#038;usg=AOvVaw1x9IRPXsinMVtyKtZ8kqiP\">policy 235.1<\/a> governs the administration of surveys to students. UCFSD is currently investigating whether the Survey policy was followed during these presentations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1700760801843000&#038;usg=AOvVaw2PQrVSrJfhxNb4LcARqniG\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Williams told The Daily Wire that the survey was administered by the \u201cqueer witch\u201d without parental consent. Furthermore, there was no way to know if the organization or the school had followed up with people who had reported pressuring someone or being pressured into sexual activity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cSeveral of my children took classes that incorporated the CVC program, yet neither my wife nor I recall consenting to their participation in the required research survey, and we were certainly never told that they would have to respond to personal questions that violate our right to privacy,\u201d Williams wrote in a letter to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/san-francisco-officials-declare-acronyms-racist\/\" title=\"San Francisco Officials Declare Acronyms Racist\">school board president<\/a>, Victoria Baratta, asking for copies of the program\u2019s informed consent documentation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Williams first flagged the survey when he was going over materials for an educator <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/08\/why-are-elected-republicans-helping-democrats-reward-a-failed-education-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">misconduct complaint<\/a> he filed last month against District Superintendent John Sanville. The complaint was filed after he said the school district had been stonewalling a public records request on Tobin\u2019s presentation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Williams believes that the survey itself likely violated the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Pupil Protection and Privacy Amendment (PPRA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the blow-up last year, both Sanville and Baratta stood by Tobin\u2019s presentation, saying it was in line with district policy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In one email exchange, School Board President Victoria Baratta told one parent that he had been taken in by \u201cmisinformation\u201d that was \u201centirely unfounded.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAs the administration spent valuable time yesterday and today looking into this accusation, and yours was not the only email, I would greatly appreciate it if you would be willing to go back and correct the misinformation at the source,\u201d she wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sanville told one parent who reached out at the time that he appreciated \u201cthe fact that you have concerns about Deni Tobin,\u201d but that the school determined \u201cafter extensive research\u201d that Tobin \u201cstuck to the script\u201d and did not discuss her sexuality or beliefs, according to emails obtained by The Daily Wire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But now the pair says there is more that needs to be learned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Baratta responded to one parent on Sunday asking about the surveys by saying that the district was currently \u201cinformation gathering\u201d and looking into the matter, saying that answers to specific questions couldn\u2019t yet be answered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sanville revealed in another email to parents that the survey had been given to students over a seven-year period, meaning that potentially thousands of students have taken it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sanville also asserted to another concerned parent that no resources from Planned Parenthood were used in the presentation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">However, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=1008613006523314\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">videos<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  from CVC\u2019s Facebook page show Tobin and another CVC staff member presenting Planned Parenthood\u2019s FRIES (Freely Given, Reversible, Informed, Enthusiastic, and Specific) sexual consent acronym. This video was allegedly on the same topic for the presentation at Unionville.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Another video shows Tobin going over a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/cvcofcc\/videos\/2593201404254024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wheel<\/a> of intersectionality that assigns privilege to people if they are white, speak English, or are male.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tobin did not respond to questions from The Daily Wire.
