The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/spasmodic-dysphonia-what-rfk-jr-s-voice-condition-means-for-his-campaign\/\" title=\"RFK Jr.'s campaign impacted by spasmodic dysphonia.\">poll \u200brevealed<\/a> a decrease from 74% to 62% in\u2062 the number of\u2064 black voters &#8220;absolutely certain to vote.&#8221; Biden&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rnc-investing-250000-into-newsom-recall-effort\/\" title=\"RNC Investing 0,000 Into Newsom Recall Effort\">campaign plans<\/a> to invest $25 \u2064million to engage key\u2064 voter \u200ddemographics in\u2062 battleground states, focusing on Black media\u2063 outreach.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2024\/05\/06\/poll-biden-black-voters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><em>Washington Post<\/em>-Ipsos poll<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/african-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>black voters\u2019<\/a> desire to vote in the 2024 general election has fallen off since 2020, which could be worrisome for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>President Joe Biden<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/polls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>poll<\/a> found that 62% of black voters said they were \u201cabsolutely certain to vote,\u201d which is down from 74% who said they were certain to vote in June 2020. The Biden campaign recently announced it would spend $25 million trying to reach key demographics of voters in battleground states in what some have called \u201cthe largest and earliest investment in Black media for a reelection campaign in history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Younger black voters showed the biggest drop in enthusiasm. Only 41% aged 18-39 said they are certain they will vote in the 2024 general election. <\/p>\n<p>Older black voters are much more likely to vote, and their certainty in voting this election, in fact, has increased since 2020. Eighty-eight percent of black voters older than 65 say they plan on voting this year \u2014 up 1 percentage point from June 2020, when 87% said they planned on voting.<\/p>\n<p>In a race between Biden and former President Donald Trump, who has stepped up his efforts to push black voters away from Biden, the survey found that 74% of black registered voters said they would \u201cdefinitely\u201d or \u201cprobably\u201d vote for Biden. Only 14% said they would \u201cdefinitely\u201d or \u201cprobably\u201d support Trump. When considering third-party candidates, 20% said they would \u201cdefinitely\u201d or \u201cprobably\u201d vote for independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/p>\n<p>Around 60% are favorable toward Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Voters tend to feel better about Biden than Trump on several issues related to race, including a total of 78% who have an unfavorable view of him and 77% who said they think the former president is \u201cbiased\u201d against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dems-lost-all-credibility-on-social-distancing-after-biden-celebrations\/\" title=\"Dems Lost All Credibility On Social Distancing After Biden Celebrations\">black people<\/a>. Only 23% said they felt the same way about Biden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d rather choose the lesser of the two evils,\u201d said Erica Young, a black woman from Georgia who voted for Biden in 2020. \u201cBiden has his faults. There are a lot of questionable things. But if this is the choice between the two of them, I\u2019d rather it be [Biden]. Trump is a show. He\u2019s a clown.
