The Biden administration has framed the unprecedented operation as nonpartisan, though internal documents <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/2986378\/documents-biden-white-house-meeting-voter-registration-left-wing-activists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>show<\/a> the government hosted a July 2021 order planning call that appeared to serve overwhelmingly as a platform for left-wing organizations to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/documents-shed-light-on-biden-white-house-meeting-on-voter-registration-with-left-wing-activists\/\" title=\"Insights from Biden White House Meeting on Voter Registration with Activists\">suggest sweeping election policy<\/a> changes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Biden\u2019s EO is an overreach of the executive branch\u2019s constitutional authority and disregards the Constitution\u2019s federalist election system,\u201d House Oversight Committee Chairman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/james-comer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>James Comer<\/a> (R-KY) told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>. \u201cThe states set the time, manner, and place of their own elections, and this EO must be looked at seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>House Republican Conference Chairwoman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/elise-stefanik\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Elise Stefanik<\/a> (R-NY) said the internal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-admin-pressured-fb-to-suppress-daily-wire-content-push-users-to-legacy-outlets-newly-released-docs\/\" title=\"Newly released documents reveal Biden administration's pressure on FB to suppress Daily Wire content and promote legacy outlets.\">meeting notes reveal<\/a> \u201cillegal coordination\u201d between the Biden administration and progressive activists to plot \u201celection interference,\u201d adding that lawmakers are investigating the 2021 executive order \u201cto ensure our elections are free and fair.\u201d Stefanik is widely considered as in the running to be former President Donald Trump\u2019s vice presidential pick in 2024. <\/p>\n<p>According to a <em>RealClearPolitics<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024#!\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>polling<\/a> average, Trump leads Biden by roughly 1 percentage point. To Republicans, who have launched investigations into Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg\u2019s funding of a progressive-left group\u00a0that lawmakers say helped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearinvestigations.com\/articles\/2022\/06\/07\/team_zuckerberg_masks_the_heavily_pro-democrat_tilt_of_2020_election_zuck_bucks_study_finds_835470.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>tilt<\/a> the 2020 election for Democrats, the 2021 \u201cBidenbucks\u201d order is legally questionable. The order directs agencies to solicit and facilitate the approval of \u201cnonpartisan third-party organizations and state officials to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-puts-susan-rice-in-charge-of-effort-to-expand-vote-by-mail\/\" title=\"Biden Puts Susan Rice in Charge of Effort to Expand Vote by Mail\">provide voter registration services<\/a> on agency premises.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The order, in the minds of lawmakers and conservative legal experts, is unconstitutional and flouts numerous federal rules, including the Antideficiency Act, which bars federal agencies from spending funds beyond those approved through Congress, and the Hatch Act, a law restricting government employees from engaging in certain political activities. <\/p>\n<p>The meeting notes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/2986378\/documents-biden-white-house-meeting-voter-registration-left-wing-activists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>reviewed<\/a> by the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>, which were obtained through separate records requests by the conservative Heritage Foundation\u2019s Oversight Project and Foundation for Government Accountability, show attendees from activist groups discussed topics such as registering illegal immigrants and integrating voter registration into public housing as a requirement under federal law. The Oversight Project said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.heritage.org\/OP_Memo_on_EO_14019_Partisan_Implementation_5.1.2024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>memo<\/a> last week that it\u2019s clear the 2021 executive order is a partisan \u201cattempt to influence the outcome of future elections through the use of federal resources, infrastructure, and reach.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure><figcaption>Former President Donald Trump, left, and President Joe Biden, right. (Curtis Means\/Pool Photo via AP, and AP Photo\/Alex Brandon)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The 2021 meeting was virtual over the platform Zoom and attended by representatives from the Executive Office of the President and the Department of Justice, among other agencies, as well as staffers from groups such as the Soros-backed Open Society Policy Center, End Citizens United, and eBay founder Pierre Omidyar\u2019s Democracy Fund. <\/p>\n<p>Stewart Whitson, an attorney who works for the Foundation for Government Accountability, said the touted proposal related to public housing is evidence of a coordinated effort between the White House and left-wing activists to target vulnerable populations determined to be likely Biden voters through the unlawful order. The housing proposal was mentioned at the 2021 meeting by Laura Williamson, a then-employee at the left-wing Demos think tank who now works for the Southern Poverty Law Center. GOP lawmakers <a href=\"https:\/\/tenney.house.gov\/sites\/evo-subsites\/tenney.house.gov\/files\/evo-media-document\/1.19.22_Letter%20to%20OMB%20on%20Voting%20EO_Final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">have said<\/a> Demos crafted a document in 2020 that ended up appearing \u201cnearly identical\u201d to the Biden order. <\/p>\n<p>Like other lawmakers, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) said the meeting notes reveal a coordinated and since-secretive effort by Biden to work with progressives \u201cto figure out a way to leverage federal resources and enhance Democrat political power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s all political in nature, and it\u2019s totally wrong,\u201d Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>At the 2021 Zoom meeting, a representative from the League of Women Voters urged agencies to register people to vote at citizen and naturalization ceremonies run by federal courts. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, one representative from the Sentencing Project, a left-wing group that supports defunding prisons, called for the use of federal resources to register inmates to vote in prisons, noting, \u201cFelony disenfranchisement is voter suppression.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 2021 executive order at the center of the meeting has also prompted an investigation by the GOP-led House Small Business Committee, which is looking into <a href=\"https:\/\/smallbusiness.house.gov\/uploadedfiles\/04.04.2024_-_letter_to_sba_re_mi_voting_mou.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>the<\/a> Small Business Administration over its voter registration efforts. <\/p>\n<p>One lawmaker on the panel, Rep. Dan Meuser (R-PA), said it\u2019s clear Biden is working hand in hand with progressives \u2014 not nonpartisan groups \u2014 \u201cto enlist the federal government in a national voter registration operation\u201d that is likely unlawful.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The House Small Business Committee is, in particular, \u201cextremely concerned that the Biden administration is using the SBA as a campaign arm in the battleground state of Michigan,\u201d according to Rep.
