The DNC criticized the lawsuits as &#8220;dangerous&#8221; \u200cand &#8220;flawed,&#8221; alleging they aim to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/police-make-disturbing-discovery-in-house-of-ex-biden-official-sam-brinton\/\" title=\"Police find disturbing evidence in former Biden official Sam Brinton's home.\">undermine \u200cpublic trust<\/a>\u200b in election integrity\u2062 ahead of November.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/dnc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Democratic National Committee<\/a> is calling for judges in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/michigan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Michigan<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/nevada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Nevada<\/a> to throw out lawsuits related to voter rolls and to mail-in ballots.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of President Joe Biden\u2019s reelection campaign, the Democratic National Committee filed three amicus briefs regarding lawsuits filed by the Republican National Committee in the two battleground states. The DNC said the \u201cdangerous\u201d and \u201cflawed\u201d lawsuits are just attempts by former President Donald Trump and the RNC to erode the public\u2019s confidence in election integrity come November. <\/p>\n<p>The two lawsuits suggest the number of active voters in key counties in those states are \u201csuspiciously high\u201d and are calling on election officials to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/arizona-supreme-court-smacks-down-democrats-election-takeover-ploy\/\" title=\"Arizona Supreme Court Smacks Down Democrats\u2019 Election Takeover Ploy\">cancel voter registrations<\/a>. In addition, the DNC is asking the court to dismiss a challenge from Republicans regarding the guidance that Michigan\u2019s secretary of state\u00a0 gave to local election clerks to verify signatures on ballots. <\/p>\n<p>The DNC\u2019s amicus brief in Michigan responding to the voter roll lawsuit said Republicans filed several lawsuits in the state seeking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/obama-cheers-major-league-baseball-boycotting-georgia-after-democrat-pressure-congratulations-to-mlb\/\" title=\"Obama Cheers Major League Baseball Boycotting Georgia After Democrat Pressure: \u2018Congratulations To MLB\u2019\">invalidate election results<\/a> after Trump lost the 2020 presidential election. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis case fits that dangerous pattern of unsubstantiated election-related claims, which serve only to undermine public confidence in the electoral process,\u201d the brief noted about the RNC\u2019s lawsuit. \u201cIn reality, the greatest threat to public confidence in the integrity of our elections is not fraud or voter-roll maintenance, but unfounded attacks on our elections themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In Nevada, the DNC\u2019s brief also said the RNC\u2019s lawsuit\u00a0is \u201cdesigned less to address any real (much less substantial) issue with Nevada\u2019s voter registration lists, than to sow public distrust in the security and integrity of our electoral systems.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis lawsuit is not meant to protect the integrity of upcoming elections, but instead to provide the RNC with ammunition to undermine the general election\u2019s results,\u201d the brief read. \u201cIndeed, former President Trump is already asserting interference with the 2024 general election, months before a single vote has been cast or counted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\"><strong>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Another lawsuit in Nevada targets the state\u2019s 2021 mail-in voting law. The lawsuit aims to block the counting of any ballots received after Election Day.
