A state can gain or lose congressional seats and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-supreme-court-unanimously-blocks-colorado-from-disqualifying-trump-shredding-media-fantasy\/\" title=\"Supreme Court blocks Colorado from disqualifying Trump, shatters media fantasy\">electoral college votes based<\/a> on the size of its population.<\/p>\n<p>This means that millions of illegal aliens who have invaded the country can dilute the representation of American citizens by inflating the populations of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/large-democrat-run-cities-lag-nation-in-job-recovery\/\" title=\"Large Democrat-Run Cities Lag Nation In Job Recovery\">left-leaning areas<\/a> to which they flock \u2014 even as American citizens flee those same states. <\/p>\n<p>When former President Donald Trump signed a memo in July 2020 barring illegal aliens from being counted in the census, it was promptly met with a flurry of challenges. A handful of judges <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/local\/social-issues\/second-federal-court-blocks-trump-memo-on-excluding-undocumented-from-apportionment\/2020\/10\/22\/58944734-14a0-11eb-ba42-ec6a580836ed_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">blocked<\/a> the memo, and President Joe Biden eventually reversed the policy. <\/p>\n<p>Democrat New York Rep. Yvette Clark made it crystal clear why Democrats support including illegal aliens in their apportionment tallies when she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/musk-calls-out-unfair-blue-state-advantage-gained-illegal-immigration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> in 2021 that her district could \u201cabsorb a significant number of these migrants\u201d because \u201cI need more people in my district, just for redistricting purposes.\u201d As droves of Californians and New Yorkers head to red states like Florida and Texas, Democrats are desperate to recoup their population losses to maintain their electoral advantages. Through policies like sanctuary cities \u2014 which drain government resources and often invite violence \u2014 Democrats have incentivized a boom in illegal immigration to blue areas, which in turn inflates census data in Democrats\u2019 favor.<\/p>\n<p>In advance of Monday\u2019s hearing, several Democrats <a href=\"https:\/\/rules.house.gov\/bill\/118\/hr-7109\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">submitted<\/a> amendments to gut the bill. Republican Rep.
