Former President Donald Trump, the Republican opponent Democrats and their pals in the Deep State are trying to throw in jail, is polling at 46 percent on the economic question. <\/p>\n<p>Understandably, Americans are downright cranky about the shaky state of their personal economy, compliments of the Biden administration\u2019s prosperity-crippling policies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith Americans less optimistic about the state of the U.S. economy than they have been in recent months and concern about inflation persisting, their confidence in President Joe Biden to recommend or do the right thing for the economy is among the lowest Gallup has measured for any president since 2001,\u201d Gallup <a href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/644750\/confidence-biden-economic-stewardship-historically-low.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> Monday. <\/p>\n<p>Over the past three years, Americans learned to be confident that Biden would do the wrong thing. And his bungling treasury secretary has provided plenty of political cover. What is stunning is that a majority of Americans (57 percent) until 2022 had confidence in the Dementarian\u2019s management of the economy.\u00a0Only President George W. Bush had a lower rating, with a meager 34 percent confidence number at the end of his second term amid the real estate bubble-burst recession. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1534faa2cbc14c3d9f1d0b46a7742b23 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1534faa2cbc14c3d9f1d0b46a7742b23\"><\/div>\n<p>As inflation began to climb in 2021, economics genius Yellen described the soaring cost of things as a \u201ctransitory\u201d problem. She doubled and tripled down as inflation ballooned to levels not seen since the <a href=\"https:\/\/rollcall.com\/2023\/03\/15\/introducing-the-presidential-inflation-rate-biden-trails-only-carter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">real Great Recession of the 1980s,<\/a> caused in large part by the policies of a lousy president Biden is often compared to: Jimmy Carter. <\/p>\n<p>Yellen earlier this year offered her \u201cregret\u201d for saying what was patently false. It didn\u2019t take a <a href=\"https:\/\/home.treasury.gov\/about\/general-information\/officials\/janet-yellen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PhD from Yale and a University of California, Berkeley professor <\/a>to know that higher prices were \u2014 and remain \u2014 here to stay under <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/this-week-in-bidenomics-no-stag-no-flation-just-consternation-192404618.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bidenomics<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI regret saying it was transitory. It has come down. But I think transitory means a few weeks or months to most people,\u201d Yellen <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/business\/4529787-yellen-regrets-saying-inflation-transitory\/#:~:text=%E2%80%9CI%20regret%20saying%20it%20was,Network's%20Edward%20Lawrence%20on%20Monday.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said <\/a>during an interview with Fox Business in March.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No Sale<\/h2>\n<p>Inflation has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/markets\/us\/us-inflation-rises-line-with-expectations-march-2024-04-26\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">come up<\/a> since Yellen expressed her regret. Soaring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/economy\/housing\/rising-stocks-home-prices-young-americans-left-behind-ae941b64\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mortgage rates <\/a>have priced Americans, particularly young families, out of home ownership.\u00a0The housing crisis could be the \u201cdeath knell for America\u2019s middle class,\u201d Newsweek <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/housing-crisis-could-death-knell-americas-middle-class-1848936\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">warned <\/a>in December. <\/p>\n<p>American workers have seen any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/graphics\/2023-inflation-economy-cost-of-living\/#:~:text=Many%20Americans%20have%20seen%20their,no%20better%20off%20than%20before.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">income growth devoured <\/a>by rising costs for everything from gas to Happy Meals. Yes, Democrats\u2019 massive expansion of government regulations on business \u2014 especially small business, climate change cultism, foreign policy debacles, and unsustainable spending \u2014 has everything to do with why middle-income earners are feeling the pain and increasingly frustrated.<\/p>\n<p>Just as frustrating, you have the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/09\/07\/business\/us-economy-biden-approval\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">accomplice media covering <\/a>for the bungler-in-chief, telling Americans what they\u2019re experiencing is simply not real. The New York Times\u2019 gag-worthy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/03\/08\/briefing\/state-of-the-union-biden-economy.html\">piece<\/a> last month claining Biden has a positive story to tell on the economy is political propaganda of the most ludicrous order. No one should be surprised about such absurd water-carrying by a Biden-backing corporate media that has pushed Democrats\u2019 perfect election narrative despite Democrats\u2019 many, many <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/08\/media-tacitly-admit-mail-in-balloting-is-not-as-secure-and-reliable-as-they-claim\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">imperfections.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Now the tone-deaf treasury secretary wants to tell American businesses that tax-cutting, \u201celection denier\u201d Trump is more of a threat to the U.S. economy than the economic menace that is Joe Biden. America isn\u2019t buying what Yellen is selling.
