The company&#8217;s stocks dropped, leading Dudum to clarify his stance on social \u2064media.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_78\">\n<p>The CEO of Hims &#038; Hers, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>telehealth<\/a> pharmaceutical company, has issued a new statement on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/campus-protests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>campus protests<\/a> happening across the country, after its initial support for them caused the company\u2019s stocks to plummet.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Dudum had initially encouraged protesters on campus to continue their protests, stating that many companies are \u201ceager to hire you\u201d and included a link to apply at his company. The post sparked controversy online, with Hims &#038; Hers\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/stock-market\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>stock<\/a> going down <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/HIMS\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>by a noticeable amount<\/a> from over $13.12 per share on Wednesday to $11.35 per share by Sunday evening. <\/p>\n<p>Dudum said on social media that the past several days had been \u201ca disheartening reflection\u201d on how divisive the current landscape is and clarified how he had not been condoning antisemitism or acts of violence occurring at the protests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery student deserves to feel safe without fear of harm or being targeted for who they are,\u201d Dudum wrote on X. \u201cI am <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/officials-launch-murder-probe-into-death-of-officer-following-d-c-protests\/\" title=\"Officials launch murder probe into death of officer following D.C. protests\">deeply saddened<\/a> that my support for peaceful protest has been interpreted by some as encouraging violence, intimidation, or bigotry of any kind.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure>\n<div>\n<blockquote data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I, in no way condone nor support acts or threats of violence, antisemitism, or intimidation and there is absolutely no justification for violence on our campuses.
