Kim has navigated this team through consequential times in our world, and she did so with respect for the brand and profession \u2013 and for that and more, we thank her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Godwin\u2019s decision to retire comes after she struggled to navigate the waters at the network with the news division \u201csuffering from a cutthroat and toxic culture,\u201d the report said.<\/p>\n<p>She <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/abc-news-president-kim-godwin-president-steps-down-reports-turmoil-network\">reportedly<\/a> angered people with her leadership style which included making \u201cswift moves\u201d and creating an inner circle that \u201calienated staffers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She faced considerable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/abc-news-boss-kim-godwin-under-fire-handling-amy-robach-tj-holmes-affair-embarrassing\">backlash<\/a> for the way that she handled the extramarital affair between co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J.
