Rand Paul Offers Dr. Rachel Levine As Example Of Radical Agenda Riding Biden\u2019s Coattails\">upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/are-covid-case-surges-more-fake-news\/\" title=\"Are COVID Case Surges More Fake News?\">presidential election<\/a><\/a> on Nov. 5 sets \u2062the stage for a possible rematch between \u2063Trump \u200cand Biden.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>New <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/polls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"polling\">polling<\/a> shows voters have greater trust in former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Donald Trump<\/a> over President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Joe Biden<\/a> to handle several key concerns heading into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"2024 election\">2024 election<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While a new ABC News\/Ipsos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.langerresearch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1232a22024Election.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"poll\">poll<\/a> shows Biden and Trump are still neck-and-neck, Trump leads Biden concerning the three topics listed as most important to voters: the economy, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/inflation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>inflation<\/a>, and safety from crime.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday marks the six-month countdown from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>the upcoming presidential election<\/a>, which is scheduled to be held on Nov. 5. Trump and Biden are expected to run against each other for a second time, as Trump is currently the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party.<\/p>\n<p>As it stands, the survey found among all its recipients that 46% are planning to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/voting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>vote<\/a> for Trump, versus 44% who say they\u2019re planning to vote for Biden. Meanwhile, 46% of registered voters said they are planning to vote for Biden, just ahead of the 45% who plan to vote for Trump. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to the economy, inflation, and crime, other topics voters indicated greater trust in Trump regarding include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>immigration<\/a> along the southern border, gun violence, the country\u2019s standing in the world, and the war between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group. <\/p>\n<p>Biden is more trusted than Trump when it comes to the topics of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/healthcare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"healthcare\">healthcare<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"healthcare\">abortion access<\/a>, the latter of which many are expecting to be a major voting motivator due to 2024 being the first presidential election since <em>Roe v. Wade <\/em>was overturned. Among recipients of this poll, however, abortion access was listed as only the ninth most important topic.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While Trump is facing numerous legal battles amid his campaign for president, 80% of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/just-5-percent-of-parents-want-unions-to-have-final-say-on-return-to-classroom\/\" title=\"Just 5 Percent of Parents Want Unions to Have Final Say on Return to Classroom\">poll respondents<\/a> said they would still vote for him should he be convicted of criminal charges, with 16% saying they would reconsider their support and 4% saying they would no longer support him.<\/p>\n<p>The poll was conducted among 2,260 respondents from April 25 through April 30, with partisan divisions among respondents at 31% Democrat, 29% Republican, and 28% Independent.
