Trump&#8217;s lead, \u2063initially at\u2064 6 points, has now expanded to 12 points in a five<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/more-republicans-rumored-to-jump-into-2024-presidential-race\/\" title=\"More Republicans Rumored to Jump Into 2024 Presidential Race\">-person contest<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Former President Donald Trump\u2019s lead over President Joe Biden has nearly doubled in the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/biden_administration\/election_2024_trump_now_10_over_biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Rasmussen Reports<\/a> poll, and could go even higher after today\u2019s unexpected jump in unemployment.<\/p>\n<p>The latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2024 election<\/a> numbers shared with Secrets had Trump at 46%, Biden at 36%, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/rfk-jr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/a> at 9%.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Trump led Biden by 6 points, 44%-38%.<\/p>\n<p>In a five-person race that included two other long shots, Trump expanded his lead over Biden to 12 points, 48%-36%.<\/p>\n<p>The new survey of likely voters showed that Trump has taken support from both Biden and Kennedy.<\/p>\n<p>It also showed that Trump is maintaining his support with black voters, a group that typically votes for Democrats at 90% or better. In the survey, Trump\u2019s support from black voters was 21%. Biden\u2019s was a dismal 61%.<\/p>\n<p>Hispanics favored Trump 41%-33%.<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>While the survey analysis does not mention why Trump is surging, the results come during a week when he has used a New York City hush money trial against him to give daily press conferences outside the court that the media, especially left-leaning TV outlets such as CNN, cover. What\u2019s more, he has been more focused on his second term agenda and telling MAGA what he wants to do should he return to the White House.<\/p>\n<p>Biden, meanwhile, has been rocked by the economy, inflation, and the public\u2019s anger over paying high prices. He has also been hurt politically by the raging campus protests in response to his Middle East policies.<\/p>\n<p>Rasmussen\u2019s national poll bolstered others that have shown Trump leading in all the key battleground states that are expected to determine the final outcome. And it is the latest to show that a recent Biden bounce has faded.<\/p>\n<p>It is notable that Rasmussen\u2019s model uses a sample percentage very close to the outcome of the 2020 race. And that means it includes a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/only-22-of-cable-news-is-news-study\/\" title=\"Only 22% of Cable \u2018News\u2019 is News: Study\">slightly higher percentage<\/a> of Democrats.
