The lawsuit, filed in\u200c a Virginia federal court, accuses groups like American Muslims for\u2062 Palestine and National Students for Justice in\u2063 Palestine of being propaganda arms for Hamas. The victims claim that these organizations provide substantial assistance to Hamas, contributing to acts of terrorism.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Victims of the Oct. 7, 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/hamas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Hamas<\/a> terrorist attack on Israel are suing two pro-Palestinian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/higher-education\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>campus organizations<\/a>, saying they hold some responsibility for the attack because they are \u201ccollaborators and propagandists for Hamas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The suit, filed in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/virginia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Virginia<\/a>-based federal court Wednesday, alleges that national campus organizations American Muslims for Palestine and National Students for Justice in Palestine are partially responsible for the Oct. 7 attack because \u201cHamas\u2019s propaganda directed at American audiences is instrumental to its strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AMP and NSJP are both heavily connected to the pro-Palestinian protests and encampments disrupting college campuses across the country, often working through chapter-level subsidiaries. Both groups are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2974413\/major-columbia-protest-organizers-left-wing-donors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>funded<\/a> by far-left donors, as the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a legal chasm between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ron-desantis-targeted-by-more-negative-expenditures-than-2024-rivals-new-data-show\/\" title=\"New data reveals more negative spending on Ron DeSantis than his 2024 rivals\">independent advocacy<\/a> and knowingly serving as the propaganda and recruiting wing of a Foreign Terrorist Organization in the United States,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.vaed.553122\/gov.uscourts.vaed.553122.1.0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>lawsuit<\/a>, filed by nine American and Israeli victims of the Oct. 7 attack, reads. \u201cAMP and NSJP are the latter. They are not innocent advocacy groups, but rather the propaganda arm of a terrorist organization operating in plain sight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSurvivors of Hamas\u2019s October 7 terrorist attack, family members of those murdered by Hamas, civilians still under fire from Hamas\u2019s ongoing terrorism, and persons displaced by Hamas\u2019s ongoing terrorism have been, and continue to be, injured because AMP and NSJP knowingly provide continuous, systematic, and substantial assistance to Hamas and its affiliates\u2019 acts of international terrorism,\u201d it continues.<\/p>\n<p>Affiliated chapters have organized the campus encampments, which have roiled universities for the past several weeks. Schools such as Columbia University have had to use harsh measures to retake control of portions of campus, asking the New York City Police Department to send in a tactical unit to clear a lecture hall that had been taken over by agitators.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police, \u201coutside agitators\u201d have been <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/nyc-officials-allege-agitators-opting-columbia-university-protest\/story?id=109821934\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>brought in<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ambassador-resigns-over-bidens-inhumane-decision-to-deport-haitians\/\" title=\"Ambassador resigns over Biden\u2019s \u2018inhumane\u2019 decision to deport Haitians\">provide numbers<\/a> and support to protesters \u2014 something some suspect is funded by the NSJP and AMP. On Wednesday, members of Congress <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2987521\/house-oversight-committee-end-george-washington-university-protests-emergency-hearing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>visited the encampment at George Washington University<\/a>, where House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) promised to hold hearings and \u201cfollow the money\u201d to uncover the role of interest groups in the protests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough NSJP, AMP uses propaganda to intimidate, convince, and recruit uninformed, misguided, and impressionable college students to serve as foot soldiers for Hamas on campus and beyond,\u201d the lawsuit reads.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NSJP and AMP materials cited in the lawsuit show that the two groups identify themselves as part of the \u201c\u2018Unity Intifada,\u2019 governed by Hamas\u2019s \u2018unified command\u2019 of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/aps-sally-buzbee-mired-in-scandal-as-she-preps-for-role-as-washington-post-executive-editor\/\" title=\"AP\u2019s Sally Buzbee Mired in Scandal as She Preps for Role as Washington Post Executive Editor\">terrorist operations<\/a> in Gaza,\u201d according to the filing. \u201cAs part of Hamas\u2019s movement, AMP and NSJP state that they seek \u2018liberation,\u2019 which they describe as a \u2018real process that requires confrontation by any means necessary,\u2019 including \u2018armed struggle\u2019 and other acts of violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The suit, with representation from Greenberg Traurig, the National Jewish Advocacy Center, Schoen Law Firm, and Holtzman Vogel, alleges that the two groups provide material support to Hamas, so they should be held liable for the violence Hamas commits.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Victims of the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel are suing pro-Palestinian campus groups, blaming them for assisting terrorists.
