This is a movement from the left, not from the right. The right is not your problem, despite what law enforcement likes to say,\u201d Trump told reporters.<\/p>\n<p>He brought up FBI Director Christopher Wray\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/fbi-chris-wray-testify-capitol-riot-9a5539af34b15338bb5c4923907eeb67\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pronouncements<\/a> about the dangers of right-wing extremism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FBI director said that he worries about the right,\u201d the former president said. \u201cDon\u2019t worry about the right, the right\u2019s fine. Worry about the left, because this is a movement from the left.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese are radical left lunatics, and they\u2019ve got to be stopped now, because it\u2019s going to go on and on, and it\u2019s going to get worse and worse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump warned these are the types of movements that take over countries.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Do you agree the FBI should focus on the radical left?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cAnd we\u2019re not letting them take over the U.S.A. We\u2019re not letting the radical left morons take over this country. It\u2019s against the law,\u201d Biden said. \u201cVandalism, trespassing, breaking windows, shutting down campuses, forcing the cancellation of classes and graduations. None of this is a peaceful protest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThreatening people, intimidating people, instilling fear in people, is not peaceful protest. It\u2019s against the law.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">President Biden on college campus protests: \u201cThere\u2019s the right to protest, but not the right to chaos.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/wtmvjOrLWH\">pic.twitter.com\/wtmvjOrLWH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CSPAN (@cspan) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cspan\/status\/1786053574687859056?\">May 2, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On April 22, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/1950s-gop-turns-natl-guard-protect-minority-students-radical-dems-leftists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">repeated<\/a> a reporter\u2019s question back to her regarding the protests, saying he does condemn \u201canti-Semitic protests\u201d but adding, \u201cI also condemn those that don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on with the Palestinians.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The White House had released a similar on-the-one-hand, on-the-other-hand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2024\/04\/21\/statement-from-president-joe-biden-on-passover\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> the day before, April 21.<\/p>\n<p>On April 23, when asked by NBC News anchor Lester Holt whether the FBI was monitoring the campus protests, Wray <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/national-security\/fbi-director-says-agency-sharing-intelligence-prevent-violence-college-rcna149018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">responded<\/a>, \u201cWe don\u2019t monitor protests, but we do share intelligence about specific threats of violence with campuses, with state and local law enforcement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last week, 27 Republican senators \u2014 including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Shelly Moor Capito of West Virginia, Katie Britt of Alabama, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Ted Cruz of Texas, Tom Cotton of Arkansas, John Kennedy of Louisiana and Marco Rubio of Florida \u2014 sent a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capito.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/04-23-2024_capito_cotton_letter_on_antisemitic_mobs.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">letter<\/a> to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona and Attorney General Merrick Garland urging them to use their authority to \u201crestore order and protect Jewish students\u201d on college campuses.<\/p>\n<p>They noted multiple federal laws have been violated by the protesters, including those against discrimination and espousing support for terrorism.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Sen. The Biden administration is failing the American\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hwm3sFz5GS\">pic.twitter.com\/hwm3sFz5GS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Real Mac Report (@RealMacReport) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RealMacReport\/status\/1785343628032045306?\">April 30, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Concerning Trump\u2019s charge that Wray is wrongfully focusing his efforts on the right, the FBI director testified before Congress in March 2021, two months after the Capitol incursion, that his bureau had seen no evidence that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pennsylvania-court-rules-states-mail-in-voting-law-is-unconstitutional\/\" title=\"Pennsylvania Court Rules State\u2019s Mail-In-Voting Law Is \u2018Unconstitutional\u2019\">left-wing actors<\/a> had taken part in the attack, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2021\/03\/02\/fbi-director-wray-reconfirms-threat-posed-by-racist-extremists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Washington Post<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>When asked whether \u201cright-wing white supremacist groups played an instrumental role\u201d in the events of Jan. 6, 2021, Wray said they played a significant part.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs there any doubt that the people who stormed the Capitol included white supremacists and other far-right extremist organizations?\u201d Sen. Christopher Coons of Delaware later asked him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s no doubt that it included individuals that we would call <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wild-attack-braun-questions-why-dni-identified-abortion-related-violent-extremists-as-principal-threat-but-not-blm-and-antifa\/\" title=\"\u2018Wild Attack\u2019: Braun Questions Why DNI Identified \u2018Abortion Related Violent Extremists\u2019 As Principal Threat, But Not BLM And Antifa\">militia violent extremists<\/a> and in some instances, individuals that were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-fbi-spied-on-3-3-million-americans-without-a-warrant\/\" title=\"Report: FBI Spied on 3.3 Million Americans Without a Warrant\">racially motivated violent extremists<\/a> who advocate for, you know, the superiority of the white race,\u201d Wray answered. \u201cBut the militia violent extremists is probably at the moment trending the biggest bucket, if you will.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-wonders-campus-anti-semitic-rioters-will-get-treatment-jan-6-defendants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">questioned<\/a> whether the anti-Israel demonstrators who broke into an academic building at Columbia University and occupied it would get the same treatment that the Jan. 6, 2021, defendants have received.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause they\u2019re doing a lot of destruction, a lot of damages, a lot of people getting hurt very badly,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wonder if that\u2019s going to be the same kind of treatment they gave J6,\u201d the former president said. \u201cLet\u2019s see how that all works out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think I can give the answer right now.
