In later years, however, Piper started asking Hogan about his faith.\u00a0 He balked at \u201csurrendering\u201d his life to Christ, but he \u201cwas trying to get his life straight, so, I mean, we would text every single day,\u201d the star explained.<\/p>\n<p>Hogan said he received an unusual voice text message from Piper \u2014 two days after his 2015 death at age 61.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rJ7LAj9y5tg?si=dGcf_n1OtczxDGjU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Piper made a profession of belief in the text message \u2014 something Hogan wouldn\u2019t have expected from him.<\/p>\n<p>The message started with Piper singing a line from the old-time gospel song, \u201cI Saw the Light.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Are you a fan of Hulk Hogan?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Then the cheerful voice declared, \u201cI\u2019m walking with Jesus today, my brother.
