Rather than badger his underling, the villainous Bowser appears to be encouraging him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn that case, I order you to do some sit-ups. And don\u2019t stop until even your hammer has abs!\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/papermario\/comments\/1cdvbtb\/bowser_no_longer_fat_shames_heres_the_before_and\/?utm_source=embedv2&#038;utm_medium=post_embed&#038;utm_content=whitespace&#038;embed_host_url=https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/paper-mario-remake-has-removed-changed-fat-shaming-bowser-cat-calling-goombas-dialogue-tweaked\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the new dialogue<\/a> reads.<\/p>\n<p>Another change for the remake involves a scene featuring a gang of villainous cat-calling Goombas \u2014 a mushroom-looking race from the world of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/best-mario-flat-cutout-everything-need-know-paper-mario\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mario<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the original game, Mario and a female Goomba named Goombella run into the gang, who proceed to cat-call her.<\/p>\n<p>The Goombas even refer to her as \u201chottie\u201d and \u201cbaby.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All of this dialogue has been removed and toned down for the remake, per another Reddit post.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-embed-height=\"486\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/papermario\/comments\/1cdgfzd\/they_removed_the_cat_calling_heres_the_before_and\/\">They removed the cat calling.
