I\u2019m 39 years sober. I got sober Feb. 23, 1985.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The actor said he dove head-first into using cocaine in 1983 after he moved from New York to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hollywood-star-comes-fire-getting-baptized-one-day-messing-tarot-cards-next\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hollywood<\/a> at the beginning of his career.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Do you like Alec Baldwin?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI had a white-hot problem every day for two years,\u201d he joked. \u201cI think I snorted a line of cocaine from here to Saturn \u2026 did one on the rings of Saturn, then we came home \u2014 we took it back home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, cocaine was like coffee back then,\u201d he added. \u201cEverybody was doing it all day long.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin said that after he was able to walk away from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jesse-watters-obtains-wh-cocaine-docs-says-everything-told-us-lie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cocaine<\/a>, his drinking problem got out of hand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause I stopped doing drugs, my drinking increased, which they tell you is going to happen,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd that did happen. I just started drinking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin admitted he still misses <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/covid-lockdowns-exploded-alcohol-deaths-nearly-1-3-bureaucrats-blood-hands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">alcohol<\/a> and that he thinks about it after nearly four decades of abstinence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t miss drugs at all, but I do miss drinking,\u201d Baldwin said. \u201cI like to drink.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin was ordered by a court in New Mexico to avoid alcohol and firearms when he pleaded not guilty to manslaughter in February, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/films\/news\/alec-baldwin-rust-filming-trial-b2287772.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Independent<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>The actor will go on trial for allegedly shooting and killing Hutchins in July.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRust\u201d armorer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/alec-baldwin-rust-shooting-trial-experts-warn-ominous-sign-actor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hannah Gutierrez-Reed<\/a> is currently serving an 18-month prison sentence for involuntary manslaughter after she handed Baldwin the loaded pistol that killed Hutchins and wounded the film\u2019s director, Joel Souza.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>An Important Message from Our Staff:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>In just a few months, the world is going to change forever.
