Jean Carroll during a rally in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/michigan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Michigan\">Michigan<\/a>\u2018s critical key swing state. He also blasted the 88 federal indictments that have been brought against him during a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/2986925\/trump-champions-nypd-storming-columbia-university\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"rally in Wisconsin\">rally in Wisconsin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/election-2024\/?utm_source=homepage&#038;utm_medium=banner&#038;utm_campaign=iowa_caucus&#038;utm_id=election2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ELECTION 2024: FOLLOW LATEST COVERAGE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cEvery time the radical-left Democrats, Marxists, communists, and fascists indict me, I consider it a great badge of honor,\u201d Trump said. \u201cBecause I\u2019m being indicted for you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump is currently battling against 34 charges from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over allegations he participated in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/defiant-trump-says-he-did-nothing-wrong-and-will-never-drop-out-of-2024-race-after-indictment\/\" title=\"Defiant Trump says he 'did nothing wrong' and will 'never' drop out of 2024 race after indictment\">hush money payment scheme<\/a> during the 2016 election. The case required Trump to appear in court on four out of the five weekdays, with Wednesday being the sole exception.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI have come here today from New York City where I\u2019m being forced to sit for days on end in a kangaroo courtroom with a corrupt and conflicted judge enduring a Biden sideshow trial,\u201d Trump said at MBS International Airport in Freeland, Michigan, on Wednesday. \u201cAt the hands of a Marxist district attorney, Soros-backed, who\u2019s taking orders from the Biden administration.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe judge, by the way, is the most conflicted person in history. I don\u2019t think there\u2019s ever been a more conflicted judge, crooked and conflicted. I\u2019m unconstitutionally gagged,\u201d Trump continued in his complaints. \u201cHe gagged me. So I\u2019m not even supposed to be, I would say, talking to you because he gagged me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Merchan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/2977467\/trump-fined-9k-held-in-contempt-for-violating-gag-order\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>imposed a $9,000 fine<\/a> on Trump on Tuesday for violating a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-held-in-contempt-for-violating-gag-order-in-hush-money-trial\/\" title=\"Trump found in contempt for breaking silence order in hush money case\">gag order multiple times<\/a>\u00a0and warned Trump could be jailed if he continued to violate the order. Trump was also ordered to delete social media posts that violated the gag order.<\/p>\n<p>The gag order prohibits Trump from attacking attorneys, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-stares-down-ex-attorney-cohen-as-he-testifies-in-new-york-civil-fraud-trial\/\" title=\"Trump glares at former attorney Cohen during New York fraud trial.\">court staff members<\/a>, or the family members of prosecutors, lawyers, judges, and Bragg. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat you\u2019re witnessing in New York is not a legal proceeding. It\u2019s an unlawful exercise in very stupid and very evil politics,\u201d Trump said. \u201cBut here\u2019s the good news: It\u2019s driven the poll numbers higher than we\u2019ve ever had before. Because people get it, it\u2019s a scam. (AP Photo\/Paul Sancya)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>An <a href=\"https:\/\/emersoncollegepolling.com\/trump-holds-edge-over-biden-in-seven-key-swing-state-polls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Emerson College Polling-the <em>Hill <\/em>poll<\/a> of swing states released on Tuesday showed Trump leading President Joe Biden in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. In Michigan, Trump leads Biden 45% to 44%. In Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, 47% said they supported Trump, while 45% said the same for Biden.<\/p>\n<p>The former president also took time to slam Engoron, who oversaw the civil fraud case New York Attorney General Letitia James\u00a0brought against Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Engoron <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/2974243\/judge-approves-trumps-175-million-bond-despite-challenges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>approved a $175 million bond<\/a> from Trump, who is fighting Engoron\u2019s ruling that Trump pay $454 million in fines and interest for committing business fraud.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had another judge, Judge Engoron. He takes assets that are worth billions and billions of dollars, and he says, \u2018Oh, they\u2019re worth just a little bit like $18 million\u2019,\u201d Trump said. \u201cHe takes an asset that\u2019s worth a billion, billion and a half dollars. He says it\u2019s worth 18 because that\u2019s his narrative.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump also mentioned but was careful not to publicly name Carroll, the writer who successfully sued Trump for sexual assault and defamation. She was awarded $83 million. A Trump attempt to appeal the decision was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/crime\/2979579\/trumps-appeal-request-83-million-e-jean-carroll-defamation-verdict-denied\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>denied<\/a> in late April.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd then we have another one in New York who gave someone $91 million because they said I defamed her,\u201d Trump said. \u201cBecause I said her story isn\u2019t true. I defamed her, $91 million.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo anyway, hopefully, the appeal process works because if it doesn\u2019t, you just don\u2019t have a country,\u201d Trump said. \u201c$91 million because I defamed her. Unbelievable, and I didn\u2019t defame anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During the Wisconsin rally, Trump excoriated Biden over the economy, claimed he was the best presidential candidate to help the middle class, and championed the New York Police Department for clearing away protesting Columbia University students.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania mark the three \u201cblue wall\u201d states crucial to victory for Biden or Trump in 2024.
