Where are all the stories about \u201cwhite supremacy\u201d and \u201cassault weapons bans\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>Wait, never mind. The <em>suspect<\/em> is black and all four <em>victims<\/em> are white. Nothing to see here, after all!<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1591491761\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-3b8fbb357c1f1f900bbbb52e0a512865 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-3b8fbb357c1f1f900bbbb52e0a512865\"><\/div>\n<p>It\u2019s interesting how that works. Just shy of four years ago, our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/poll-one-in-six-biden-voters-would-have-changed-their-vote-if-they-had-known-about-scandals-suppressed-by-media\/\" title=\"Poll: One In Six Biden Voters Would Have Changed Their Vote If They Had Known About Scandals Suppressed By Media\">national news media<\/a> and Democrats in general <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/10\/20\/ben-crump-picks-another-winner-a-black-man-who-died-after-attacking-a-black-man-and-choking-a-woman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">declared<\/a> it time for a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=752404368980937\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">racial reckoning<\/a>\u201d because one erratic fentanyl addict <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/04\/14\/us\/derek-chauvin-trial-george-floyd-day-13\/index.html\">died of a heart attack<\/a> in custody after a cop attempted to wrestle him under control. We haven\u2019t stopped hearing about it since. But on Monday, Terry Clark Hughes Jr., 39, under warrant for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/two-cops-shot-at-chicago-hot-dog-stand-suspect-in-custody\/\" title=\"Two Cops Shot at Chicago Hot Dog Stand, Suspect in Custody\">illegal firearm possession<\/a> and evading arrest, allegedly greeted police arriving to take him into custody by raining rounds of bullets on them using his rifle from the second story of a nondescript suburban home.<\/p>\n<p>Hughes was killed in the shootout, but so were officers Sam Poloche, Alden Elliot, Joshua Eyer, and Thomas Weeks. Did I mention they were simply trying to arrest Hughes for illegally owning a gun, a breach of laws I\u2019m promised by the media are vital to the safety of every man, woman, and child in America?<\/p>\n<p>Without being too blunt here: It\u2019s because Hughes is <strong><em>BLACK<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Not even a month ago, the media had us on the verge of Floyd 2.0 after a 26-year-old man allegedly initiated gunfire on police from his SUV. Authorities were pulling Dexter Reed over for a traffic violation and commanding that he open his window when he allegedly pulled the trigger, only to receive a barrage of bullets from police in return, striking him 13 times total.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-b3139af6c3f8e347dda75adc6d052e05 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-b3139af6c3f8e347dda75adc6d052e05\"><\/div>\n<p>But hey, none of the police involved were killed, so no biggie! The real issue is that Reed himself died \u2014 because he\u2019s <em><strong>BLACK<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/nation\/2024\/04\/10\/dexter-reed-shooting-video-chicago-police\/\">Washington Post<\/a>: \u201cPolice fire 96 shots in 41 seconds, killing Black man during traffic stop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/04\/24\/us\/dexter-reed-chicago-police-shooting\/index.html?Date=20240424&#038;Profile=CNN&#038;utm_content=1714001404&#038;utm_medium=social&#038;utm_source=facebook\">CNN<\/a>: \u201cThe family of Dexter Reed, a 26-year-old Black man who was killed in a hail of bullets fired by police during a traffic stop\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/dexter-reed-chicago-police-shooting-0529419b830040e41bff495f1b8f0313\">Associated Press<\/a>: \u201cVideo shows the 26-year-old Black man briefly lowering a window and then raising it and refusing to exit the vehicle as more officers arrived\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-e90bb84c02fc4ae9e7dfad5f1e46fd52 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-e90bb84c02fc4ae9e7dfad5f1e46fd52\"><\/div>\n<p>Guess who didn\u2019t mention the race of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/more-liberal-lies-jon-ossoff-lies-about-kelly-loeffler-after-she-is-pictured-in-photo-with-some-guy-she-doesnt-know-who-was-once-a-klansman\/\" title=\"MORE LIBERAL LIES: Jon Ossoff Lies About Kelly Loeffler After She Is Pictured in Photo with Some Guy She Doesn\u2019t Know Who Was Once a Klansman\">black man<\/a> who just allegedly killed four white cops with an illegally owned gun. Answer: None of the above. Neither did <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/04\/29\/us\/charlotte-police-shooting-north-carolina.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The New York Times<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/charlotte-shooting-north-carolina-police\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CBS<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/now\/video\/police-identify-suspect-in-charlotte-shootout-that-killed-four-officers-209972293903\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NBC<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/tragic-loss-charlotte-officials-mourn-4-law-enforcement\/story?id=109778020\">ABC<\/a>. Nor did the Times, the Post, or the AP post a photo of Hughes.<\/p>\n<p>To their credit, ABC, CBS, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/04\/29\/us\/officers-shot-charlotte-north-carolina\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CNN<\/a> at least published Hughes\u2019 mugshot from a previous offense, one of many on his extensive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlotteobserver.com\/news\/local\/article288142400.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">criminal record<\/a>. Meanwhile, the Times\u2019 only mention of the word \u201cblack\u201d in its coverage was to describe the color of the SWAT team vehicles outside the house where he was hiding.<\/p>\n<p>But I can promise you this article is the last thing you\u2019ll hear of Hughes, at least so far as his race is concerned. Sure, it\u2019s an election year, but even though he allegedly killed four officers, injured an additional four, and did so with an illegally owned gun, it\u2019s not quite what the media are looking for in their next George Floyd.
