Marciano, who joined ABC News \u2063in 2010, faced challenges including a divorce \u200band\u2062 behavioral issues.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<header> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/news\/\">  News <\/a>   <span> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/johnathanjones\/\">  <\/a> <\/p>\n<p> <span>   By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/johnathanjones\/%20\"><span>Johnathan Jones<\/span><\/a> <\/span> <span>   May 1, 2024 at 7:46am <\/span> <\/span>  <\/header>\n<section>\n<p>ABC News senior meteorologist Rob Marciano has been fired by the network, more than a year after he was banned from reporting inside the \u201cGood Morning America\u201d studio.<\/p>\n<p>The ban came after Marciano allegedly his colleagues on the set feel uncomfortable \u2014 leaving him to report from outside of the show\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-not-single-skyscraper-tumbled-earthquake-rocked-new-york-city\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York City<\/a> headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>Dylan Byers of Puck News reported on Tuesday afternoon that Marciano had been axed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/reporter-amy-robach-vindicated-6-years-abc-news-spiked-epstein-story\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the network<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMultiple staffers had made complaints about Marciano\u2019s behavior over the years and he was at least temporarily barred from main GMA set in NYC,\u201d Byers wrote.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">SCOOP <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PuckNews?\">@PuckNews<\/a>: Rob Marciano, the ABC News &#038; Good Morning America meteorologist, has been fired from the network, per sources familiar. Multiple staffers had made complaints about Marciano\u2019s behavior over the years and he was at least temporarily barred from main GMA set in NYC.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Dylan Byers (@DylanByers) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DylanByers\/status\/1785392851532095832?\">April 30, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>ABC News did not issue a public comment on the firing of the veteran weatherman. There were rumblings previously that Marciano displayed a temper that led to his ban from the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/teacher-featured-good-morning-america-faces-life-prison-pleading-guilty-heinous-crime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GMA<\/a>\u201d studio, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/03\/19\/rob-marciano-banned-from-gma-studio-wants-back-in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Page Six<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He still worked inside the studio during weather reports for \u201cWorld News Tonight\u201d and last appeared on the network this past weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Page Six reported in March that Marciano\u2019s ban came as he was going through a divorce from his wife.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Do you watch TV news for weather forecasts?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cHe was found to have done something,\u201d a person described as an ABC News insider told the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>The person did not disclose what Marciano was alleged to have done, other than to call it \u201cimproper.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026[But] he was punished for it, and they still haven\u2019t let him return,\u201d the person said.<\/p>\n<p>Another person close to the production of the show claimed Marciano was working through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/anger-management-therapist-loses-murders-man-witnesses-watch-police\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">anger management<\/a> issues when an incident with a female colleague escalated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were times when [Marciano] was very cranky and angry,\u201d the person claimed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pelosi-calls-allegations-against-andrew-cuomo-credible\/\" title=\"Pelosi Calls Allegations Against Andrew Cuomo \u2018Credible\u2019\">made people feel uncomfortable<\/a>,\u201d the source added. \u201cThere was a period where there were some issues, a number of alarming events.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Marciano was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/peloton-cuts-ties-with-sex-and-the-city-star-chris-noth-after-sexual-assault-allegations\/\" title=\"Peloton Cuts Ties with 'Sex and the City' Star Chris Noth After Sexual Assault Allegations\">reportedly supposed<\/a> to serve out a short ban from the studio, but \u201cGMA\u201d executive producer Simone Swink reportedly declined to have him back.<\/p>\n<p>The EP of the show reportedly likes a distraction-free environment.<\/p>\n<p>Marciano confirmed to <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tv\/gma-meteorologist-rob-marciano-wife-eryn-files-for-divorce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">People<\/a> magazine in July 2022 that he and his wife Eryn were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/star-sports-couple-call-quits-gets-divorced-just-1-year-marriage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">divorcing<\/a> after marrying in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe last couple of years have been very difficult,\u201d he said in a statement to the outlet. \u201cI didn\u2019t want this and tried to save the marriage, but we are sadly divorcing.
