Upon encountering a character portraying the Evil Queen from \u201cSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs.\u201d He believes the employee was a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/lgbtq\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">biological male<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The unnamed Disney guest reached out to the fan blog <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/thatparkplace.com\/exclusive-walt-disney-world-cast-members-express-support-but-concern-over-the-evil-queen-situation\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That Park Place<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  to voice his concerns, discussing how he and his family had been looking forward to meeting the Evil Queen during their visit. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He said his kids posed for photos with the Evil Queen who \u201cwithout a doubt had a man\u2019s voice.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI told my waiter that I had a problem with something. He then asked what was the issue and I simply stated I have a problem with Evil Queen being a man dressed in drag. The waiter immediately said he was going to get a manager and he looked panicked,\u201d the guest reportedly told the blog.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAt first I said I wanted to formally complain about the Evil Queen being a man and that I felt very disrespected by Disney because this is not the sort of thing my family values and they didn\u2019t give us any type of notice that this sort of thing was even a possibility,\u201d he continued. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI stated we are a conservative Christian family, I\u2019m spending $8,000 on this current trip in addition to the tens of thousands I\u2019ve spent together in the past at Walt Disney World and Disney Cruises, and that this is not right,\u201d the guest continued. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A family has reached out to That Park Place claiming they spent over $300 on a character meet and greet dinner at Walt Disney World\u2026 only to discover the Evil Queen character was almost certainly a biological male. This represents the first time we&#8217;ve heard of Disney using a\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jHRt64wl4O\">pic.twitter.com\/jHRt64wl4O<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 wdwpro (@wdwpro1) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wdwpro1\/status\/1782611140503056676?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 23, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cFor the most part the manager just listened and never once apologized for anything. At one point the manager stated \u2018I can assure you that she is a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/transgender\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">woman<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u2019 She went even further, trying to shame me, informing me that \u2018she\u2019 was so excited to get the part as the Evil Queen. For a brief moment I thought \u2018oh\u2026 maybe I\u2019m wrong\u2019 but then I realized that I was just being gaslighted,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI politely told the manager that \u2018I know what you are doing and that I do not appreciate the fact that you are trying to be funny and disingenuous.\u2019 So since the manager doubled down I also doubled down and asked, \u2018Is the Evil Queen a biological male?\u2019 The manager\u2019s reply was, \u2018I\u2019m sorry sir, I cannot answer that.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wdwpro1\/status\/1782611140503056676\">clip<\/a> of an employee portraying the Evil Queen was posted on X and has 5.5 million views. It was an excerpt of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VeG5JU_UpyU\">YouTube video<\/a> posted in January from an account reviewing a Story Book Dining experience at Artist Point located inside Disney\u2019s Wilderness Lodge in Orlando.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The person behind That Park Place reportedly spoke with several anonymous cast members who work with the individual in question. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThe only thing I personally feel safe saying as a statement is that Inclusion is a Key for a reason,\u201d the anonymous source said, citing one of Disney World\u2019s new policies. \u201cIt\u2019s the newest Key the company has introduced. Inclusion means Everyone Belongs. Guests and Cast Members alike. No matter who you are, no matter how you identify, if you\u2019re cisgendered, trans or non-binary, you can be a performer.
