But in our country, we need you to be Momala of the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAs a woman who respects so much and wants to share and wants to be confident and has no ounce of meek, that has competitiveness \u2014\u00a0when we lift each other up, we all rise,\u201d she continued. \u201cWe need a great protector.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harris responded by saying that she thinks that \u201cSadly, over the last many years, there\u2019s been this kind of perverse approach to what strength looks like, which is to suggest that the measure of one\u2019s strength is based on who you beat down, instead of what we know the true measure of your strength is based on where you lift up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Though President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Joe Biden<\/a> rarely sits for substantive interviews with the press, both he and Harris have ramped up their appearances in nonpolitical media ahead of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-elections\/\">2024<\/a> election.
